COMMENTARY: NEW 'CHRISTIAN REFORMATION' NEEDED? Whilst orthodox reductionist -science stubbornly refuses to investigate the empirical evidence for the afterlife - it has failed to show where, when, how and why the afterlife evidence is not valid. The scientists and empiricists of the 'NEW SCIENCE' who investigate the afterlife evidence fully accept the evidence - see chapter 2 and chapter 25 of my book for some of these scientists. Accordingly, the 'New Science' supports some of the most fundamental claims made by all religions, namely that: 1) the afterlife exists, 2) it has different levels of consciousness from the darker lowest to the brightest at the highest 3) there is accountability on crossing over 4) we can communicate with some of those who crossed over and 5) there are afterlife entities who are unevolved who at worst can be quite dangerous.

But in relation to the writings central to the Christian religion there are too many unauthorized interpolations (former Mons Peter de Rosa mentions many of them in his Vicars of Christ- The Dark Side of the Papacy) made over the centuries which reflected the ecclesiastical politics of the time (And see A Short History of the Bible).Even experts agree that the Bible very badly needs updating. Many items in it are unacceptable to the intelligent mind. And whilst Christianity is in deep crisis these days, there is a concern that if things keep on going the way they are around the world, in some hundred years, the Church would be about ten per cent of what it is to-day in spite of the best efforts of many dedicated and sincere people who spend their lives in the Church service.

The Church can increase its relevance and credibility by teaching people about empirical afterlife findings - because anything that is objective and repeatable can never be shown to be wrong - and will become irrebuttably and irrefutably permanent.


HELL? A popular topic: the truth about hell.
Hell for ‘eternity’ and ‘eternal damnation,’ we are informed directly from the otherside, were invented by men to manipulate the hearts and minds of the unaware – they do NOT exist. They CANNOT exist. Whilst there ARE lower spheres in the afterlife that are particularly dark, unpleasant and even horrific – some call them ‘hell’ – ending down there is not for eternity. It has been transmitted from highly credible sources that we live forever because our ‘ENERGY’ (our mind/spirit/body) has 'a spark of the divine’. And no part of the divine can be condemned to eternal damnation. Hell for ‘eternity’ was a deliberate Churchian mistranslation of the word ‘eon’. ‘Eon’ in the time of Jesus meant a ‘period of time’ - 100 years. By what authority then the translator of the Bible dishonestly mistranslated the word ‘eon’ to mean ‘eternal’ – every time eon was preceded by some form of punishment? ‘Hell for eternity’ was invented by some cruel ecclesiastics to control the mind and the heart of the unaware.The authority of this one comes from a former priest, Fr Johannes Greber - his books Communication with the Spirit World of God and The New Testament where high level spirits speaking through a trance medium explained and corrected the interpolations in the Bible. But people to-day are no longer accepting the absurdities – not even the priests I met. But hell for eternity is still on the books as a valid concept. A new Christian reformation is needed.

Part 2- SEX OUT OF THE BODY

APPARITIONS: QUESTION: My mother told me that she saw the apparition of her own mother some months after she passed on one early morning as she was waking up. She said it was very real. I don’t believe in apparitions - I think it's all in her mind. What’s your view? Jim.

Victor: Just take it easy Jim and let's look at the evidence about apparitions. Surveys repeatedly show that 50% of those whose loved ones cross over will either see or hear them even for few moments and be told they are OK. Just because your beliefs do not allow for apparitions, does not mean they don't occur! Just because your beliefs are historical, traditional or cultural - that does not mean your beliefs pass the 'test of validity.' I suggest you review your beliefs immediately- and rise above your environmental conditioning. Psychology tells us that when you receive information fundamentally inconsistent with your own cherished beliefs, your nervous system will panic! Your blood pressure will rise. You start to sweat. You’re full of anxiety. And your unconscious tries to protect your personal beliefs and your ego by refusing to accept the fundamentally inconsistent information – EVEN if the inconsistent information has the substance of scientific support. There have been successful empirical studies about ‘apparitions’ – see Chapter 19 of my book.

WHAT REALLY HAPPENS WHEN YOU DIE:
An afterlife teacher explains the spheres:
"Spirit life is graduated, with each sphere, plane or expression, blending and shading into the next one higher in the evolutionary sense but not in geographical location. As the energy-soul progresses and fits itself for higher states of being so automatically it occupies those states ... The lower gives way to the higher. You 'die' and are born again. You do not lose the astral body in quite the same way that you lose the material body. It becomes more rarefied (raising of the vibrations). It becomes refined as the lower drops away. That is its death for death reallly means transformation, resurrection, the rising of the higher out of the lower ... The more you evolve, the more of the unexpressed self comes to the surface. That means more of perfection is being expressed the closer you are to the Great Power. If perfection was a finite process, then you would, in a stated time, merege with the Great Power, but it is an infinite process for the more you evolve, the more you realise there is to be evolved so that you are becoming more and more individualised as time goes by." NEAR DEATH EXPERIENCE RESEARCH PROJECT After a successful 18-month pilot study, the University of Southampton in the United Kingdom announced in September of 2008 the launch of AWARE (AWAreness during REsuscitation), the largest study of its kind into the phenomenon of near-death experiences (NDEs). Led by critical-care physician Sam Parnia, a specialist in the field of "consciousness at death" research, the study has brought scientists and doctors together at 25 major medical centers throughout Europe and the U.S. Although findings won't be made available for several years, the program will provide deeper insights into the occurrence of such things as out-of-body experiences and memory recall during cardiac arrest.

QUESTION: You said in your recent video WHAT MUST YOU KNOW BEFORE YOU DIE that those who refused to believe there is an afterlife, on crossing over could get stuck in the dark Astral level for hundreds – even thousands of years. That is really horrible state to be. What if someone volunteers to help them to go to the realm of the light?

Victor: That in fact is not in dispute by those who have investigated the afterlife. Yes, we are informed that there are those who cross over – and the stubborn ones can remain in the realm of the ‘Dark’ Astral level ‘for thousands of years’ in mental confusion denying that they have crossed over. It is a horrible state to be in. This is what could happen to those who do not accept there is an afterlife, those whose minds are deeply entrenched in the belief that life ceases when they physically die. Nobody makes them stay in horrible confusion for thousands of years – they bring the horrible situation onto themselves. But one time, even after eons of time in mental confusion, these stubborn people will eventually admit they were wrong, swallow their pride and will be attracted to the light they will eventually see. They then would realize the unnecessary time they wasted in horrible mental confusion! And yes there are enlightened rescue teams who go down to these places where these miserable creatures stay to try to explain to them that they are physically dead and are now in the afterlife dimension. But mostly, these caught entities go into complete DENIAL that they are dead.


QUESTION: WHY ARE CELEBRITY MEDIUMS SUCH AS JOHN EDWARD AND GEORGE ANDERSON CHARGING EXORBITANT PRICES?

Victor: That you have to ask the mediums themselves. I have no idea whether they can justify it or not. All I know is that if they use their psychic skills as a business, they do have every right to charge what they like. If people do not like paying a hundred dollars to see them on stage, they don’t have to see them. Having said that, I do understand that there would be many people who would not be able to pay that kind of money and that the spiritual way of demonstrating their psychic skills is to be ‘reasonable’. Ultimately, all mediums are accountable as is everybody else in this world. I know of mediums in the past who kept very quiet and never charged any money for their mediumship skills. But balanced against that consider the enormous impact that mediums like John Edward are having on huge numbers of people. And always remember, you do not have to go to visit any medium for your own spiritual advancement.
