COMMENTARY: WE ARE ALL CONNECTED
Messages coming from our friends and teachers in Spirit have been warning us for years of the dangers of materialism which Silver Birch defined as follows:
"Materialism is, by its very nature, the worship of greed for money and possessions, concerned with the individual’s pleasures and possessions to the exclusion of thought or care for others who share this planet.”
There is nothing wrong with scientific advances and technological progress in themselves. They have brought us incredible benefits, and most people would not want to return to life as it was before the Industrial Revolution. But the issue is balance. Can we live simply with technology in a way that does not threaten the balance of nature? Can we maintain our connections with spirit and with each other in the face of increasing competition for scarce resources?
This is the dilemma facing humankind today as our current way of life is devastating forests, rivers, and oceans, the air, the quality of food, and the very existence of other species. Whether you accept that climate change is caused by carbon emissions or something else, no one can deny that Spaceship Earth is in big trouble, and that business as usual is no longer an option.
Sadly many in the modern age fail to realise the great truth known to all Indigenous peoples: that all life is interconnected.

The Spirit Search and Rescue group is held on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month at 3 p.m. Eastern US time ( 8 p.m. London time).
Gordon is teaching the technique of conscious meditation to connect and assist souls needing help to complete their crossing over following the death of the physical body. Henry John Deutschendorf Jr. (1943-1997), known professionally as John Denver, was an American record producer, actor, activist, and humanitarian. He was one of the most popular acoustic artists of the 1970s and wrote a huge number of songs covered by other artists. Sunshine on My Shoulders was written by John on "a dreary day, gray and slushy. The snow was melting and it was too cold to go outside and have fun, but God, you're ready for spring". A simple song about appreciating life and longing for better days.

Every week participants interested in trying to develop physical mediumship sit in a darkened space in their own homes for 40 minutes, relax, and listen to music. At the moment, the group is focusing on table tipping with several members getting phenomena.
A 45 minute session where intermediate to advanced mediums can practice their mediumship in a breakout room with a partner and get feedback.
