COMMENTARY: PERSONAL EXPERIENCE CREATES CERTAINTY
When it comes to the afterlife, the people who are most confident of their position are those who have had a personal experience of direct afterlife contact.

Some are naturally aware of other dimensions from a young age. Others are changed by a near-death or an out-of-body experience, an evidential reading with a medium, or an experience sitting in a physical mediumship circle. Some of the most frequent experiences that also have a huge impact on people are after-death contacts, dream visits, or getting a response to a question through EVP.

We often hear people who have had personal experiences say "I don't care what anyone says, I know what happened to me, I know what I saw and what I heard". Dr. Elisabeth Kübler-Ross had many wonderful experiences of afterlife contact and put it this way:

DR. YVONNE KASON ON SPIRITUALLY TRANSFORMING EXPERIENCES
This is an inspiring interview with Yvonne Kason, M.D., a retired family physician and transpersonal psychotherapist. Her medical specialty was the research and counseling of patients who had diverse types of spiritually transformative experiences, or STEs, a term she coined. HOW DOES SCIENCE REACT TO NEW IDEAS?
"In science, the acceptance of new ideas follows a predictable, four-stage sequence.
In Stage 1, skeptics confidently proclaim that the idea is impossible because it violates the Laws of Science. This stage can last from years to centuries, depending on how much the idea challenges conventional wisdom.
In Stage 2, skeptics reluctantly concede that the idea is possible, but it is not very interesting and the claimed effects are extremely weak.
Stage 3 begins when the mainstream realizes that the idea is not only important, but its effects are much stronger and more pervasive than previously imagined.

MICHAEL TYMN'S SEARCH FOR GOD
Michael Tymn's blog post "Where is God in the Pandemic?" outlines a journey that many of us share.
"I was looking for something more than a God who wanted to be worshipped incessantly," he says. He argues that it is time for churches to replace the concepts of "worship" and "faith" with knowledge of the "immortality of man, held not as an article of faith, a clause in a creed, but as a piece of personal knowledge and individual experience."

Mike says that he was able to find the evidence he needed by studying the scientific approach of the pioneers who conducted psychical research during the period 1850 to 1935. His books provide an invaluable introduction for others seeking hard evidence of the afterlife. CHILDREN IN THE AFTERLIFE
Immediately on crossing over, infants from those even minutes old to older children are met by specially trained carers from the other side. They are taken to a very special place – perhaps the best description would be a kind of children’s ‘hospital’ – where they are looked after with much love by those connected with the child and by the specially trained personnel. They grow in the normal way given much love and education until adulthood. The child will have carers who bring him/her to visit the parents and family still living on earth.
