COMMENTARY: SUGGESTIONS FOR NEWCOMERS TO AFTERLIFE RESEARCH
1. Look for videos, interviews, and books by credible experiencers - people who had years of acknowledgement as honest and reliable reporters and who had nothing to gain and everything to lose by going public with their experiences.
2. Look for agreement between other explorers in the same area of afterlife evidence. Do all near-death experiencers have similar experiences? Are they the same in different countries and previous centuries? And are the experiences consistent with those in different areas of afterlife evidence, such as deathbed visions, after-death contacts and mediumship?
3. Take time to meditate, to sit in stillness. Ask your spirit guides to lead you to books, videos, and people who will provide you with your own experiences. Seek out groups of afterlife experiencers on Facebook and other social media platforms. Consider attending meetings and conferences where you can talk to experiencers.
4. Do not be discouraged by skeptics and materialists; most of them have not had personal experiences and/or are blocked from recognising such experiences by their early conditioning. Remember that what you are discovering has the backing of some of the greatest minds that the world has ever seen.

OBE EXPLORERS ALL FOUND THE SAME THINGS
For over 2,000 years, people across cultures have reported remarkable experiences of finding themselves floating above their physical bodies during sleep, or suddenly observing themselves from an external vantage point. These out-of-body experiences (OBEs) have been documented by philosophers, spiritual traditions, and writers throughout history.
Socrates, Pliny, and Plutarch all described out-of-body experiences in their writings. Plutarch was particularly detailed in his accounts, writing of being "lifted out of his body on many occasions." He also documented the experience of Aridanaeus in A.D. 79, providing one of the most detailed ancient descriptions of an OBE.
The Tibetan Book of the Dead describes a duplicate of the physical body called the "Bardo Body," which is said to lift out of the physical form during certain states of consciousness. Similarly, Mahayana Buddhism recognizes the existence of this duplicate body. Ancient Chinese practitioners reported achieving OBEs through meditation practices.
Many famous writers wrote about their OBEs including:Ernest Hemingway,Tolstoy, Dostoevsky, Tennyson, Edgar Alan Poe, D H Lawrence, and Virginia Woolf. NEAR-DEATH EXPERIENCES THE SAME TODAY AS YESTERDAY

For more than 50 years, experimenters worldwide have been recording what they term 'paranormal voices'—audio phenomena that are not audible during recording but can be detected upon playback. Vicki Talbott is a retired TESOL/ Linguistics professor. When her only child, Braeden, died in a kayaking accident in 2000, they both already knew about the afterlife and Electronic Voice Phenomena (EVP). 3. Take time to meditate, to sit in stillness. Ask your spirit guides to lead you to books, videos, and people who will provide you with your own experiences. Seek out groups of afterlife experiencers on Facebook and other social media platforms. Consider attending meetings and conferences where you can talk to experiencers.

For more than 50 years, experimenters worldwide have been recording what they term 'paranormal voices'—audio phenomena that are not audible during recording but can be detected upon playback. Beginning around 1980, some researchers expanded these investigations to include alleged communications through radio, telephone, television, answering machines, fax machines, and computers. This broader category of purported contact with deceased individuals is known as Instrumental Transcommunication (ITC), Extended ITC, or Trans-dimensional Communication. Proponents claim these phenomena are reproducible and have been documented in laboratories internationally, with ongoing scientific investigation.
