COMMENTARY: A THIRD ALTERNATIVE
Sadly, a lot of people equate the afterlife with religion and, when they reject the absurdities of simplistic religions developed thousands of years ago, they close their minds to the afterlife.
In rejecting the threats of eternal damnation, they also cut themselves off from an exploration of The Greater Reality. They shut the door firmly on anything spiritual or paranormal and retreat into skepticism, claiming (incorrectly) that science says there cannot be an afterlife.
For many years we have been showing that the evidence for the afterlife has nothing to do with religion and that it is perfectly possible to be an agnostic or an atheist and still accept the evidence for the afterlife. There is a large and growing group of people who describe themselves as "spiritual but not religious."
We have also shown that some of the greatest scientists in the history of the world who took the time to investigate the evidence for the afterlife became convinced of its existence. These days their discoveries are being supported by the advances in quantum physics which show that at the base of all matter, there is only consciousness - which some people describe as 'The Universe' or even God.

ATHEIST DIES
AND REMEMBERS HER REAL HOME Nancy Rynes, an atheist and scientist, had an NDE (Near-Death Experience) after being hit by an SUV while riding her bike, where she went to Heaven and met God and an angel. An NDE (Near-Death Experience) occurs when someone dies, is revived, and learns there is life after death. Harry says that he didn't believe in an afterlife and when he died, he stayed around his friends. He went to pubs and then realised he could now travel the world. But no one could hear him, and no one could see him, so it was a lonely existence as an Earth-bound spirit. AFTERLIFE EVIDENCE: AUTOMATIC WRITING
This is when scripts are produced without the control of the conscious self. It is a very common form of psychic activity, but not always true mediumship. In its highest form, it is an excellent channel for teachings from the spirit world. Usually, the hand of the medium is controlled and writes at a furious pace without pause for thought. Often the handwriting is unfamiliar, there is no punctuation, and sometimes back to front (mirror writing). The medium can be conscious and otherwise engaged mentally in reading or conversation while the writing progresses. The scripts sometimes exhibit a knowledge far exceeding that of the medium. Global Gathering: Our guest, Neal Rzepkowski, MD was ordained as a Spiritualist minister one month after he graduated medical school in 1978.
