COMMENTARY: THE HIGHER SPIRITS' AGENDA Silver Birch was one of the most beloved Spirit teachers who claimed to be a spokesperson of a vast collective of advanced spirits, so when he talks about the future of the world it has great credibility. At a time of great uncertainty it is a vision to inspire us all.
Part of the vision he personally saw coming into being concerns material progress:
“We desire to uplift the weak and the fallen, give strength to the helpless. We desire to rid your world of starvation, illness, and sickness. We desire to
abolish all foul slums and evil habitations that are a pestilence and a blot on your world. We desire to bring light to those who are in darkness; knowledge to those who are ignorant. We desire to lift mankind up, to free him from slavery of mind, body and soul".
But the more important part is for a spiritual awakening:
"We desire to fight all selfishness, the poison that saps at your civilization and brings in its train chaos, bankruptcy, war, and destruction. We desire to revive the power of your spirit in your midst, that all may seek to live for one another, to cooperate for each other's well-being to destroy all boundaries founded on hate, greed, avarice, and self-interest, so that peace and plenty may be yours as they were intended to be.”

WHY INVESTIGATE CONSCIOUSNESS? Amit Goswami, Ph.D. is a retired professor of physics from the University of Oregon where he served from 1968-1997. In 1999, Amit started a movement called quantum activism, a revolution in science now gaining ground in North and South America, Europe, and India. In 2018, he and his collaborators established Quantum Activism Vishwalayam, an institution of transformative education in India, based on quantum science and the primacy of consciousness.
As he puts it,
"If ordinary people really knew that consciousness, and not matter, is the link that connects us with each other and the world, then their views about war and peace, environmental pollution, social justice, religious values, and all other human endeavors would change radically." Read more.
THE NEAR-DEATH EXPERIENCE OF VINNEY TODD TOLMAN After being pronounced dead in a fast food restaurant, Vinney was placed in a body bag and was on his way to the morgue. But a paramedic heard a voice say twice "This one's not dead". Vinney watched it all from the ceiling. Once a pulse was found, the ambulance notified the hospital and a team was waiting to revive him. Vinney recalls watching from the ceiling of the bathroom and hearing thoughts going on in the restaurant, then in the ambulance. He then was taken to Heaven and had a detailed Near-Death-Experience. WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU DIE? Dr. Robert Crookall (1890–1981) initially taught Botany at Aberdeen University, Scotland, but went on to become the principal geologist at the governmental Geological Survey, in London. When he retired in 1952 (well before the internet) he started collecting records of people’s out-of-body experiences, amassing several thousand. He went on to publish nearly twenty books on OBEs and related subjects. He compared testimonies from astral projectors, clairvoyants, mediums, deathbed observers, and those who had near-death experiences. He also examined descriptions of experiences found in major religious literature. He was amazed at the consistency of the evidence from so many different sources and claimed that the existence of the afterlife had been "as well established as the theory of evolution". WHO WILL MEET US WHEN WE CROSS OVER?
We know from deathbed visions, from most near-death experiences, from information given to mediums, and from the Leslie Flint tapes that we are usually met by a loved one with whom we share a heart-to-heart connection. There are accounts of people who were unconscious at the time of transition waking up in a hospital-like bed where their initial contact is with people whom they think are nurses. PHYSICAL MEDIUMSHIP: MATTER THROUGH MATTER Something that has been reported for over a century in physical mediumship is what is called "Matter Through Matter". Apports arrive in different ways. Objects are teleported to and from a locked box. The medium's hands are released from binds - and then put back. Solid rings are interlocked. Clothing is removed from the medium and folded up in a pile and there are even reports of people being teleported. HIGHLY INSPIRATIONAL MUSIC
Kathy Cochrane says her husband Mark's twin brother, Craig, came to her in a dream. "He told me it was his birthday. I argued with him and said, "It's not your birthday! Your birthday is on Mark's birthday - in August!" But he insisted that it indeed was his birthday - his "birth into a happy, new life" - and that I should buy him a birthday cake.
