COMMENTARY: HAPPY EASTER TO ALL Christians claim that Easter is celebrating the resurrection of Jesus from the dead and the possibility of eternal life for all who believe what they are told to believe. But those who are informed about the afterlife fully accept that we ALL continue to live when the body dies.
So, yes, let's enjoy our Easter eggs and Easter bunnies - symbols of new life, fertility and the end of winter in the Northern hemisphere. And let's enjoy the opportunity for a few days off work to meet up with family and friends and celebrate the beauty and wonder of being alive.
And at the same time let us be grateful that we now have irrefutable evidence that life is eternal, love is immortal, and death is only a horizon.
MONS. HUGH BENSON ON OTHODOXY
Monsignor Hugh Benson transmitted many books from the afterlife (including the very popular Life in the World Unseen) through the medium Anthony Borgia. A core theme of his work was regret about the doctrines that he used to teach when he was a priest of both the Anglican and later, the Catholic Churches. His books Facts and More Light are highly recommended for those struggling to make sense of Orthodox teachings.
As he puts it "Orthodoxy has made havoc of the truth. The New Testament, wherein are alleged to be some of the acts and sayings of Jesus, has undergone all manner of accidents from interpolations, omissions, deletions, mistranslations, misstatements, and misinterpretations. As it is now the New Testament is one of the most dangerous of books since by its incompleteness it can so easily be misread.
What he [Jesus] did prove beyond any vestige of doubt is the fact of human survival of death of the physical body, and he proved this by the same means as thousands of other people have used both before and since his time - he went back to earth and spoke to his friends there, showed himself, showed that he lived and that death concerned the physical body only." IS THERE LIFE AFTER DEATH?
The University of Virginia’s Division of Perceptual Studies research portfolio includes investigating children who have memories of past lives, the nature of consciousness and the mind-body relationship, neuro-imaging studies of psi events, and individuals who report experiencing near-death experiences (NDEs). SALUTING THE WORK OF ROBIN FOY A wonderful reunion must be taking place in the afterlife this week following the transition of Robin Foy, a tireless champion of modern physical mediumship. He was the Co-Founder of the ISM Home Circle Link in the 1980s and one of the leaders of the Noah's Ark Society of which he remained the chairman until September 1994. In 1992, he was Co-Founder and driving force behind the Scole Experimental Group and, later the New Spiritual Science Foundation. He was the author of In Pursuit of Physical Mediumship
and Witnessing the Impossible. For many years Robin and his wife Sandra were at the centre of the physical mediumship community in Europe and he gave generous mentorship and support to everyone. He founded and moderated a very active online group Physical Mediumship 4 You where tributes and messages of condolence to his family are being posted.
His son Jon wrote:
"My Dad passed away, peacefully at his home in Spain, earlier today.
In accordance with his beliefs and wishes, there will be no remembrance service or funeral.
Instead, raise a glass and remember happy times that you spent with him. Safe journey, Dad".
THE SCOLE EXPERIMENT
For five years a group of mediums and scientists witnessed more phenomena than in any other experiment in the history of the paranormal, including recorded conversations with the dead, written messages on sealed film, stunning apports, video of spirit faces, and even spirit forms materializing. Highly-qualified and objective scientists, and a whole range of other people who attended the Scole Group's sessions is several different countries, came away convinced that (mostly) invisible, discarnate intelligences were making direct contact with those present.

"I purchased Robin's book, 'Witnessing the Impossible', in 2012 at a séance in Spain. The book is an account of the extensive Scole experiment that he oversaw. It seems appropriate to celebrate this accomplishment now. The book is summarized in Chapter 22 of Signs of a Multidimensional Reality - available as a free pdf download. The summary was mentioned in a social media post, and I recall that he liked it".
SCOLE WITNESS TESTIMONIAL: PROFESSOR DAVID FONTANA David Fontana was one of three senior members of the Society for Psychical Research who accepted an invitation to attend over 20 sittings with the Scole group from 1995 to 1997. Together with Montague Keen and Arthur Ellison he authored a formal report for the SPR which noted that this was the first serious investigation of physical mediumship by SPR members since the 1930s and that it had "put physical mediumship back on the agenda".
PSYCHOGRAPHY For centuries highly evolved spirits have been trying to educate humans to the reality of the afterlife in many different ways. There are some cases where the hand of a medium is completely taken over by spirit and writes at a supernormal speed, in languages unknown to the medium about subjects totally outside their knowledge. In 1949, Dr. Horace Westwood, an American Unitarian minister, published his only book about psychical research, entitled 'There is a Psychic World'.
