THE SEED OF TRUTH (first published 1987. This publication 1989)

1) There is no chance, no caprice, no miracles, no accident. All is due to cause and effect which follow one another in a sequence that is methodically exact and inviolable. Natural law rules throughout the whole universe and all that takes place, no matter where you look, whether it be in the realm of insect life, inhuman life or in planetary life, always you will see that law is in operation.

2) These laws take no cognisance of human desire or will. Your ideas, your views, you wishes will not change the natural law. The law has always been in
operation: it is in operation now; it will continue to operate, for time is eternal and the law is eternal, too. I know nothing of miracles. I do know that the power of the spirit, working according to natural law, though it may be a law not yet revealed or understood by those on earth, is capable of working seeming miracles. The power of the spirit is life. Where there is life there is spirit, where there is spirit there is life.' p.68.

'3) ... It is what you do that matters and believe me- believe this if you believe nothing else – if you – if you have helped one soul of find the light, if you have given food to one who was hungry or drink to one who was thirsty, if you helped to ease the burden on path, that is more important than all the wealth in your world.'

4) ..”May I try to leave one thought with you and it is just this: remember there are around and about you many unseen presences whose one desire is to guide
you, to guard you to influence you along the lines of the greatest good.
You are never lonely, you are never neglected. Always there are those whose mantle of love is wrapped around you, and the power which they wield is the
power of the spirit, that power which is the genesis of all life, the power that fashioned the sun, the moon, the stars, the mountains, the oceans, the whole of
life, the whole universe and all that it contains.”

(p122): “The soul who knows should be calm, sure, certain that the right time the way will be shown. You are never left alone. Sometimes it is necessary as
part of your spiritual development that you must face a situation where you have to make choice. Then we stand back to see whether you will turn to the left or
the right, or go straight on. We can tell by what you do whether like good children you have learned your lessons, or like bad children you have not done so.”

It is only in darkness that you find light. It is only in sorrow that you can find joy. It is only when all seems lost that you can find the way. It is only when the
world of matter has nothing to offer that the power of the spirit step in and show there is a rich bounty awaiting for you.

From page 125: “People who die are- in the early states- just the same as those who live. They have shed a physical body, that is all. They haves not changed their individuality; their character is not altered. Their habits and traits and idiosyncracies and characteristics remain just as they were; the selfish still selfish, the greedy still greedy, the ignorant still ignorant, the deluded still deluded, until the process of spiritual awakening takes place.
”We have had to undo generations and generations of misrepresenation, ignorance, prejudice, lies, deceptioin, superstition, all the forces which have held millions of people in the darkness of subjection.”
