A WELL DOCUMENTED HAUNTING CASE

Historical Background
On
April 11 1996, the husband of a Christian-Arab lady in Haifa
suddenly died on his way to his workplace from an unexpected
cardiac arrest. He left behind 4 children and a wife. Unable
by then to financially ensure the family's budget, and in
her distress, she turned to seek assistance in mystical
circles.
Her husband's couriers' Office in Haifa downtown was taken
over by a new owner and the business has run successfully
since under the new owner's control.
Technological Background
Seeing some unexpected intrusions in the office during
its being closed and at night-time, the owner decided to
install a modern Infrared surveying system permanently connected
via the web to his home PC's hard disk for permanent operative
control.
The Infrared camera is sensitive enough to catch in full
darkness any movement that might occur in the controlled
space, and instantly activate an alert system for police
intervention, while displaying the event upon the owner's
home monitoring screen. The system starts working only upon
a dynamic change happening in the environment.
For the record there is a free available hard disk space
able to cover three months of monitoring - then old stuff
is erased automatically in order to allow new recordings..
The recorded Information is documented in detail (exact
time of event) - and 1-3 second high-resolution movie clips
are supplied into the owner's control room and saved in
his hard disk.
Records
Since the set-up of the control system described above,
to the uttermost amazement of the Office's owner a very
strange phenomenon was followed up upon his records:
Inside the Office room, during night time and in the early
morning hours of the day, an unexplained white structure
was caught flying around in the space sometimes at a distance
of 2 meters from the Infrared Camera, displaying a certain
focus upon the work table in the room.
The structure seems to radiate luminescence around itself,
lightening its trajectory and the environmental objects
in the room. While moving around, the luminous structure
was constantly changing its form.
As the very sensitive alarm system is not activated by
the strange intrusion, it seems reasonable to assume that
no physical object in movement is detected.

Follow up
The case was brought to my knowledge a few years ago by
a highly reliable Lady, Mrs. Gila Buium - leader of the
Israeli Association for study of paranormal phenomena. She
was the first one to be asked for an opinion by the owner
of the Office and subsequently by the Israeli Television.
She seemed to be interested in my help for a thorough investigation
of the alleged evidence of this well documented case of
haunting.
I've forwarded the case to Mr. Alex Katsman from the Haifa
Technological University for opinion display and possible
further investigation.
At the same time, I've given my consent to forward the
complex evidence as soon as properly documented to International
investigation bodies, provided the full and unconditioned
cooperation of the Office's owner would be achieved.
Unfortunately, the owner seemed to be interested only in
getting rid of the phenomenon as quickly as possible by
an efficient 'cleaning' intervention of the clergy, in order
to ensure the undisturbed work of his team.
Comments.
It seems that we are witnessing here a well-documented
case of paranormal evidence for space-bound haunting by
a probably self-conscious entity - the former owner of the
Office, victim of a sudden death some 10 years ago.
The haunting structure seems to be highly energized (possibly
drawing its energy from environmental sources) - and thus
able of radiating photon energy around itself.
The recurrent haunting was by chance caught upon firm evidence
by the Infrared monitoring system installed.

Introduction
The analysis has been done on one of the images supplied
by Dr. Adrian Klein and more precisely the one named “image004.jpg”.
Such analysis can be considered as a preliminary step since
a more reliable analysis should be accomplished on a good
quality image, without the compression effect, typical in
".jpg" files sent by e-mail.
Despite such limitations some information on the nature
of image and chromatic composition can be detected. The
image under analysis is in RGB format and is visible in
Fig. 1.

As it can be noted the image is taken from a monitor and
the luminance components are saturated either for intensity
of radiating object or for an imperfect white balance (if
a digital camera has been used).
The analysis has been performed by transforming the 3-colour
bands with a multi-spectral segmentation using an application
currently utilized by NASA to process the Landsat images
(satellite) with georeferences.
The subdivision of each colour channel in other bands with
() Fourier, has generated a 16-bands multi-spectral file
from which has been obtained an averaged spectrum on the
chrominance as visible in Fig. 2.

In the diagram is visible a wide optical emission curve,
ranging from 350 to 2500 nm approx., with a predominance
in the red-infrared zone of the spectrum. A database constituted
by 300 "Spectral Signatures" relevant to known
substances (water, vegetation, rocks, etc) has been compared
to the spectrum under analysis. The result visible in Fig.
3 concerns the presence of almost 40 of known substances
or, in other words that the averaged spectrum of 40 "Spectral
Signatures" is alike to the curve shown in Fig. 2.

The spectral emissivity has been associated to the intense
brilliance of the road asphalt reflection: even if my opinion
is that this result should be verified on an image of better
quality. On the right of Fig. 3 are visible some of 40 spectral
answers identified by the system.
The image could contain other spectral information not identified
due to the low quality of the same and for the limitation
of my limited database. Probably with a more extensive library
other similar spectra could be detected.
In any case, considered the very wide spectral band and
the image radiating intensity, which exhibits a homogeneous
response on a wide spectral base as noticeable in Fig. 4,
my opinion is that the kind of radiation involved is very
close to the synchrotron radiation or to a similar-plasma
radiation.
In case of synchrotron radiation the major emissivity is
shifted towards the UV and X spectral bands, for this reason
it can be excluded. The software used is anyway limited
to carry out analyses in the electromagnetic spectrum ranging
between 300 nm up to 10,2 µm.

The Fig. 5 shows the PSF applied to the image where a curve
of pixel intensities, configured as a nearly perfect Gaussian
bell, is evidenced. Such trend is presumptive in favour
of the hypothesis relevant to an energy like-plasma or a
radiation similar-synchrotron involved.
By considering the forces eventually playing (many eV) to
generate such kind of radiation (with dominance of UV or
X radiations) I ask to myself: is it possible?
Most probably the answer is no, nevertheless the case appears
with a singularity of a continuous spectrum with a broadest
band.
The spectral calculations carried out on an image which
originally had a dynamic range and a much more limited band
(ranging from 350 to 900 nm) obviously are predictive and
suppose a spectral descending curve on the base of the peaks
and spectra found in the software library.

Fig. 6 shows another frame of the video supplied by Dr.
Klein. The morphology of the bright shape can be observed
as remarkably changed. By accomplishing a false-colours
spectro-cromatographic analysis (see Fig. 7) it appears
a heterogeneous radiation, which is not constantly pixel-saturated
on the whole image and, the datum perhaps the most important,
is that the radiation emitted by the supposed "extra"
is also radiating toward the bottom, reflecting itself on
the objects located on the table which in their turn are
reflecting the radiating energy. This element is important
since it confirms the genuineness of the phenomenon. In
the case of a photomontage such a precise reflection is
not possible to be achieved.

The intensity spectral levels represented on a thermal scale
reveal a constant decreasing of the thermal gradient in
the surrounding environment, particularly over the table
and a homogeneous radiation that decreases with the square
of distance going away from the image "extra".
Fig. 8 shows a graphic representation of such thermal gradients
in a view of the enlarged item.

CONCLUSIONS
The film examined seems to be genuine and not manipulated
even if, to give more reliable information, an investigation
on the original material is needed. The intense brightness
and the spectral characteristics of the haunting phenomenon
point out the presence of a widest band radiation with the
higher intensity located between the visible and the near
infrared spectrum (NIR).
The typology is assimilable to a similar-synchrotron radiation
even if the radiation probably is not of the same nature.
To give more details a wider spectra database is needed
like the one used by military air force to investigate with
greater resolution the nature of the light examined and,
in addition, a database of chemical elements richer than
the one that I have in my hands (composed by only 300 "spectral
signatures").
Similar cases, but presenting different spectral characteristics,
are mentioned in literature and indirectly studied in our
Laboratorio.
For example the apparition of the Zeitoun Madonna (1970),
showing a very similar shape to the analysed one, but exhibiting
particular spectral characteristics.
Fig. 9 shows the photo as taken at Zeitoun and Fig. 10 shows
as the spectral analysis has evidenced a phenomenon of water
molecules ionization (hydrogen+oxygen) that is a typical
of an exposure to radiations strongly energy-producing (almost
12 eV).

Hydrogen and ionized oxygen peaks with a light spectral
line widening effect can be noted.
