if I have not replied to your email. Wendy and I have
been taking some family time in Los Angeles and Portland.
A
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!
COMMENTARY:A
NEW YEAR RESOLUTION? This is a good
time of the year to plan what we want to achieve this
year. Remember, the clock keeps on ticking - and time
waits for nobody! In the grand scheme of things our
lives are just a 'fraction of an eye-blink.' Over and
over the message comes from the other side "If
only I had known... I could have done so much more..."
Nothing comes by chance - so careful intelligent planning
for the next 12 months is what we all must do. I'm borrowing
from Oprah's resolutions for this year. In addition
to the usual deadlines we have and the demands made
on us, I find that by also focusing on three positive
things we all should see the year out successfully.
First:HEALTH. This is very important. We
all know that we must exercise and watch what we eat
because the consequence of being negligent in relation
to our bodies could be quite devastating. As well continuing
research on the mind-body connection shows us that how
we think about our health is equally important. Now
is a good time to actually make a commitment to doing
something about it, preferably with someone else.
Second:
SPIRITUALITY: Most of us know that is critically
important to read daily about afterlife matters
as well as to set aside some time for quiet meditation.
It is so easy to get caught up in the material world
with its pressures and fears. Oprah, in the latest edition
of her magazine, confesses that it was only when she
allowed herself to get too busy for daily meditation
and gratitude journalling that her heath began to fall
apart. Keeping ourselves connected to spirit reminds
us that nothing can hurt us. We can lose the fear of
death, lose the fear of the unknown.
Third:
FUN - what do you do for fun? We must be creative
to balance working long hours with some fun - listening
to wonderful melodious music, reading books and journals,
traveling, taking photographs, learning new things,
taking up a sport- just to mention a few ideas. Those
who come through to us from the afterlife often tell
us that they work at things they love so that work is
fun and they balance work by taking opportunities to
be with like-minded people and to do creative things
they never had the chance to do while alive on earth.
I haven't heard of anyone in the realms of the light
who remains a "work-aholic".
Those who take the opportunity to learn about the afterlife
on a daily basis, to practice thought control and to
raise their vibrations through creativity and selfless
service will find crossing over a joyful homecoming.

OUR VISIT TO THE U.S.: from Hollywood,
Los Angeles we
went to Portland (picture, left) - not far from Seattle.
What we notice consistently over the number of times
we visited the U.S. is the friendliness of the American
people. We have found that wherever we went - especially
in Portland, the people are so very friendly. When someone
exudes positive energy, friendliness and the willingness
to help a stranger for no personal motive or incentive
- that to me is always so very impressive. I had my
very first white Christmas- gentle snow falling
as we were walking outside shops (see picture left).
I thought it was incredibly beautiful. Of course, within
a couple of days the snow completely melted and the
sun came out - without any trace of snow. It was a wonderful
experience for us as in our hometown during Christmas
time is sub-tropical - is usually around 28 to 30 Celsius
(78-80 Farenheit). Above, Victor on the last day of

OBJECTIONS
OVERRULED! These below are
some of the most common objections raised by the skeptics
about the evidence for the afterlife I received in the
last 20 years. I will be including one objection every
week for the next twenty weeks. For any feedback on

Objection. “The evidence for the
afterlife cannot be valid because there is no afterlife.”
Victor:
That is an inadmissible objection because the objector
is making an assumption there is no afterlife without
producing any objective evidence that there is no afterlife.
No one on earth has ever produced evidence to show that
there is no afterlife, therefore the objection cannot
be accepted and technically the objection is inadmissible.
But there is a huge amount of expressly stated evidence
- much of it objective and repeatable - for the existence
of the afterlife. For example, I presented some twenty
two areas of afterlife evidence which have not been
rebutted by the materialist experts or by anyone in
the last eight years.
MEETING WITH DR WALLY JOHNSTON While
in Portland I had the great privilege of meeting with
Dr Wally Johnston, a retired professor of Education,
whose story is told in the fascinating and highly recommended
book "People
Who Don't Know They are Dead."
Wally also told me about another book he has co-written
called "Possible Fatal"about
the Near Death Experience and subsequent life changes
of Joanie Thurston who was in a automobile accident
on May 13, 1997; she fell asleep at the wheel, struck
a light pole, and died. During her NDE Joanie was directed
to "tell her story and make it common knowledge."
Making a profit was not mentioned. For that reason the
publisher has decided to make Possible Fatal available
without cost to those who are unable to pay for it.

evidence will ever break stubborn patterns of denial
and misinterpretation that our field of exploration
has to ceaselessly confront."This
week another fascinating mind-expanding paper "What
is Life?" which argues that the evidence shows
that all matter has some degree of consciousness and
that life is not just a series of physical chemical
interactions but are controlled by "Informations
provided from outside the given system." THIS HAS
HUGE IMPLICATIONS FOR THE MIND-BRAIN DEBATE.
HAPPY FIRST BIRTHDAY TO THE WINDBRIDGE

Applied Research in Human Potential. For the afterlife to be accepted by mainstream
science we need a sound theorical basis (see above) and
contemporary scientific experimentation. Very few people
understand the backbreaking work it takes to write academic

LUIZ GASPERETTO - BRAZILIAN MEDIUM In
Stanislav Grof's (pictured) book "When
the Impossible Happens"
there's a chapter about Luiz Antonio Gasparetto, a psychologist
from Brazil who is able to go into trance and paint in
the style of a wide range of dead famous painters (Monet,
Picasso, Rembrandt, da Vinci, Modigliani, Manet, van Gogh,
Gauguin, etc). He doesn't just paint exact replicas of
existing paintings but "new motifs rendered in easily
recognizable styles of individual artists".
Dr Grof describes how they actually turned all the lights
off except for one little red light over the paper (red
so that he couldn't distinguish color)...he would at times
paint with two hands two different paintings at the same
time and even did one upside down under the table with
his right foot. Loyd Auerbach who was present at one of
the demonstrations writes: "The climax of the demonstration
was when he did four paintings at once: one with each
hand, one with each bare foot (these being done under
the table at which he was seated), while his eyes were
closed and he carried on a conversation. Each of the four
paintings, by the way, was supposedly by a different one
of the spirit artists (and they were, in fact, in four
distinct styles that an art expert there related to the
