COMMENTARY: THE AFTERLIFE WITHOUT RELIGION. I've had a number of requests to make a video about the afterlife without religion. Apparently this came about because of the current situation where millions of people in the developed world are leaving religion - especially the Christian religion. There is no doubt in my mind that there are millions of agnostics and atheists who do want to know more about the afterlife BUT, having rejected religion for various reasons, will not accept anything coming from religionists.

PEOPLE DEMANDING 'PROOF.' Granted that religion has given comfort to millions of people throughout the world. But science has now taken over the investigation of the afterlife. People around the world are seeking PROOF, objectivity, science - and will not accept anything less about the afterlife.

DEATH IS A MATTER OF PHYSICS
Afterlife investigators state that ALL people, not just "the chosen" or "the believers" survive physical death and continue to live on crossing over. Afterlife investigators also state that death is really a matter of 'physics' NOT 'religion' ; it is simply a change of vibrations, a change of form but not of substance just like water turning into steam. There are already millions of people who have accepted the afterlife without religion and even some atheists are publishing books about the afterlife. You do not have to be religious to be spiritual. There are millions of atheists and agnostics doing selfless service- service which is essentially spiritual. Analyzing the current situation, I state that 'the afterlife without religion' is certain to become a huge need. So I'll be working on a new video about it.

FROM SCIENCE TO GOD
At Cambridge University (UK), Peter Russell studied mathematics and theoretical physics. Then, as he became increasingly fascinated by the mysteries of the human mind he changed to experimental psychology. Pursuing this interest, he traveled to India to study meditation and eastern philosophy, and on his return took up the first research post ever offered in Britain on the psychology of meditation. SCIENCE AND THE PARANORMAL: DO PLANTS HAVE 'CONSCIOUSNESS'? Cleve Backster is a polygraph expert best known for his controversial experiments with biocommunication in plant and animal cells using a polygraph machine which was the basis of The Secret Life of Plants by Peter Tompkins and Christopher Bird (See extract below). Since those early days Backster has presented his work at numerous scientific meetings, including those of the Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS) and the Institute for Transpersonal Psychology in Palo Alto, CA. and has gone a lot further...testing communication between bacteria and human cells. Many have observed the responses of human cells and DNA to thoughts and words. See his book Primary Perception 2003.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU DIE? (by an afterlife intelligence): "In our world (in the afterlife dimension) thought is the building material that creates everything that exists. So whatever you think, is there. People who come here with greed and desire for power still have them until they learn that it is useless. When they are ready to be released from this earth bound condition, they can be helped. The trouble is that lust for power and greed chain them to earth. Though materially dead, they are spiritually dead as well. They are nearer to your world than they are to us. Unfortunately they can harm those like themselves in your world who are concerned only with greed and power."



QUESTION: How long do we live in the afterworld? Can we stay with our family members and continue to be together? Will my father be waiting for me? “J”.

Victor: This is the information we received from the afterlife dimension: one thing we all have to accept is that we are on a continuous journey of spiritual refinement – we continue to spiritual refine on Earth and especially in the afterlife. There is no pressure to do this quickly, we can take our time, but eventually all of us have to move-on for ‘eternity’. This highly credible information from the afterlife tells us that we are a ‘spark’ of the Divine – and we continue to develop that spark forever – that is why we cannot die. As to family members, where there is heart-to-heart connection – love – whether romantic or platonic – love survives physical death. This means that loved ones will be reunited when they eventually cross over. If your father has a love connection with you, guaranteed, he will be waiting for you. Of course, where there is no love among family members, that’s al lright; people connect with their own loved ones they came across in the past.



PROFESSOR ARTHUR ELLISON (1920-2000)
Arthur Ellison was a distinguished voice in paranormal research and Emeritus Professor of engineering at the City University in London. He joined the Society for Psychical Research in 1955 and was twice president of the Society. For some years he was was Chairman of the Theosophical Research Centre and its Science Group. Once drawn towards a paranormal phenomenon, he had the engineer's skill to explore it with carefully designed experiments. He stressed the need for scientists not only to study psychic events in others, but to try to develop those experiences in themselves. He himself underwent OBE's, lucid dreaming and clairvoyant episodes. He ran a training course in parapsychology each summer at Loughborough University and published widely in engineering and in psychical research. He died in 2000. The book Science and the Paranormal- Altered States of Reality (sadly now out of print) gives scientific evidence for the existence of genuine paranormal abilities across a wide range of fields: near-death experience, lucid dreaming, daylight imagery, hypnotic trance state and paranormal healing. PROFESSOR ELLISON COMES THROUGH ON EVP?
Video ITC researchers Lawrence Dean and Patricia Begley claim to have received through Lawrence's mediumship messages stating that Arthur Ellison is one of a number of deceased scientists, mediums and researchers who are playing a role in their work. Since 2002 the couple have asked for confirmation of this involvement via EVP and ITC and claim to have received his voice and voices of a number of other scientists. Listen.

SHARED DEATH EXPERIENCES Dr Raymond Moody, author of numerous books on near-death experiences, has for years been unwilling to take a public stand on the existence of the afterlife. Now apparently he has decided to go public. He is new book "Glimpses of Eternity" is about 'shared death experiences.' Readers will discover deathbed moments when entire families see the light or the room changes shape. Others tell of seeing a film like review of a loved one's life and learning things that they could never have known otherwise. As well Dr Moody will be conducting a special one time Public Lecture and a 2–Day Intensive to reveal new groundbreaking findings of his research at the Skirball Cultural Centre in Los Angeles on 15 – 17 October, 2010. This sees the return of Dr Moody to a public arena, following a 10 year absence during which he has continued to conduct specialized research. Documentary film-makers, Vivienne Somers and Anna Reeves have signed on to document the lecture as part of their new upcoming feature film about life after death. Stay tuned.


QUESTION: WHAT IS PHYSICAL MEDIUMSHIP?
Mediumship covers many different types of psychic phenomena. The most common nowdays is mental mediumship where the medium communicates through inner vision or knowing, clairaudience, or clairvoyance. Trance mediumship occurs when the medium becomes partly or fully unconscious and the medium speaks or writes in this state.

Then there is physical mediumship which is characterized by rapping, levitation and movement of objects as in the Scole Experiment (see Chapter 8 of my book ). Some rare physical mediums are able to produce independent direct voice where the voices of departed loved ones speak to the audience independently of the medium’s vocal cords (see Chapter 15) Rarest of all are materialization mediums (see chapter 10) in whose presence objects and human and animal spirits actually appear. (Read transcript) In transfiguration mediumship a layer of ectoplasm is laid just in front of the medium's face and other faces appear or other parts of the medium's body appear to change to resemble the communicator.

Physical mediumship is usually developed through a very harmonious group of dedicated people sitting together regularly (usually once a week for about an hour) in a dark room sometimes for many years. This is called "sitting for physical mediumship." The great direct voice medium Leslie Flint sat weekly with his development circle for seven years before getting clear voices. QUESTION: Does the 'soul' know before it incarnates into earth what it is that it will undertake?

Victor: This is also a very popular question. Information transmitted from the afterlife dimension states 'yes, the soul does know before incarnation what it will undertake'! Here is a highly credible afterlife intelligence SB about your question: "It is a free choice made by the larger self because it knows that its earthly journey is precisely the one needed to fulfill and obtain the necessary qualifications for the development of the larger self. You know the life that you are going to live. The hardships are chosen because to endure them, and to overcome them, will bring into play those latent qualities of the self which require development to add their quota to the real, the higher, the true self. QUESTION: Why is life full of so many problems? I must have more problems than most people - does life have to be so tough?

Victor: Those who have been doing afterlife research will tell you that there is always a good reason why some people choose to have a tougher life than others. It's to do with wanting to quicken your spirituality. Here is what a highly credible afterlife teacher eloquently says about your question, "You will not make spiritual progress when the sun is shining, all is peaceful and calm and there are no problems. You will make spiritual progress when you meet with difficulty and overcome it. Steel is forged in the crucible of fire. Your spirit is forged in triumphing over problems."
