COMMENTARY: EXTRAORDINARY CLAIMS?
It is sometimes said by skeptics that those who claim that the paranormal and the afterlife are real are making 'extraordinary claims' and therefore need to produce 'extraordinary evidence'.
Well, that 'extraordinary evidence' has been produced, it's just that few people know about it. Dr. Edwin May and his associates, combined the results of all the 26,000 trials on 154 experiments with psychic phenomena done at Stanford Research Institute from 1973 to 1988. They found that psychic phenomena had been shown to exist with odds against chance of more than a billion billion to one.
(Radin 1997:101).
Similarly, evidence for the afterlife has been documented, case by case, over the last 200 years. Every culture that has existed anywhere in the world has accepted that the paranormal and the afterlife exist. This has been on the basis, not of wish fulfillment, but of repeated observations over millennia of telepathy, clairvoyance, precognition, near-death experiences, deathbed visions, after-death communications and more.

When we take this into account, along with the experimental evidence, the existence of the paranormal and the afterlife are not at all 'extraordinary claims'. Far more extraordinary is the claim, made without ANY evidence whatsoever (and in opposition to the lived experience of every culture in the world) that there is no afterlife, no paranormal and that matter can produce consciousness.

I don't often remember my dreams, but this one seemed "hyper-real" and stayed with me long after I woke. JENNY MATERIALIZES THROUGH FOUR DIFFERENT PHYSICAL MEDIUMS
What can be more extraordinary than having dead people materialise and talk to their loved ones in their own voices?
Ron Gilkes became desperate when his daughter, Jenny, took her own life. He even thought about suicide himself because he missed her so much. So you can imagine how much emotion he felt when she materialized through a physical medium. He writes: "I cannot even begin to describe how on this occasion, when I recognized Jenny's voice saying "Hello Daddy: I am sorry Daddy", that I was able to compose myself. I can only presume it was strength given to me by others."
After that he was reunited with Jenny on five different occasions through four different materialization mediums, including Colin Fry and David Thompson. After Ron's father died, Jenny communicated again and told her dad that she had a new pony as well as the one she had while alive and that she was teaching her grandfather to ride horses in the afterlife. At a later date, both Jenny and her grandfather materialized together. Ron created a centre for physical mediumship in Banbury England which he calls Jenny's Sanctuary.

The Spirit Search and Rescue group is held on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month at 3 p.m. Eastern US time ( 9 p.m. London time).
Gordon is teaching the technique of conscious meditation to connect and assist souls needing help to complete their crossing over following death of the physical body. Each session contains an introduction, a period of around 15 minutes for conscious meditation (during which Gordon joins each group member in turn to observe their work) and then a de-brief session.
