COMMON TYPES OF SPONTANEOUS AFTER-DEATH COMMUNICATION 1)
Vivid Dreams: Deceased loved ones often appear in dreams to convey messages.
2)
Sensory Experiences: Feeling a touch or hug, smelling a familiar scent (perfume, tobacco), or hearing a voice.
3)
Signs/Signals:
Electrical devices malfunctioning or turning on/off, such as lights flickering, or finding feathers or coins.
4)
Sense of Presence: A strong, comforting feeling that the deceased is in the room.
5)
Mental Messages: A direct, clear thought or knowing that is not one's own, often conveying messages like "I am okay".

EVIDENCE THAT ADCS ARE NOT HALLUCINATIONS Dr. Ken Vincent examined 1,667 published ADC cases and found that 336 (20.1%) could be considered evidential. These cases fall into three commonly researched categories: (1) Apparitions appearing before the experiencer’s knowledge of the death of their loved one (APD) numbered 180, (10.8%) of the sample.
(2) Apparitions appearing to multiple witnesses (AMW) numbered 57, (3.4%) of the sample.
(3) Apparitions that convey knowledge unknown to the experiencer that is later proven to be true (AKU) numbered 99, (5.9%) of the sample. Read Ken Vincent's excellent analysis.
HOW CONSCIOUSNESS BEYOND THE BRAIN IS BEING STUDIED AT THE UNIVERSITY OF VIRGINIA Dr. Marina Weiler is a neuroscientist and Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Neurobehavioral Sciences at the University of Virginia’s Division of Perceptual Studies, also known as DOPS. This is one of the few academic research units in the world dedicated to exploring questions at the very frontier of science and spirituality—questions like: What happens when we die? Does consciousness exist beyond the brain? And how do we rigorously study phenomena often dismissed as “paranormal”?

His new book is finally out. Some people have found that focusing on the images stimulates them to finding themselves in home areas in the afterlife.

"I think it does, for practical reasons. The first being that you won’t be surprised. Recognition that we have died turns out to be important. I was surprised to find that some of the people I found had gone into a kind of sleep mode after death. Maybe into a dream state of some kind. I had to rouse them out of their stupor.

“Now Mrs. Smith, after you cross over, it won’t feel much different except you won’t have any physical discomfort. Begin to look for a light source and ask for assistance, it will be there waiting for you. If you find yourself looking at your body, say goodbye to it and any people there and move on out a window or door. Then move towards any light you see”.

Spirit Search and Rescue (this week with David Wright)
The Spirit Search and Rescue group is held on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month at 3 p.m. Eastern US time ( 8 p.m. London time).
Gordon (who is ill this week) has been teaching the technique of conscious meditation to connect and assist souls needing help to complete their crossing over following death of the physical body. Each session contains an introduction, a period of around 15 minutes for conscious meditation (during which the group leader joins each group member in turn to observe their work) and then a debrief session.
