COMMENTARY: PAST LIFE REGRESSION Past life regression simply involves hypnotizing a person and asking them to go back through their childhood to a time before they were born. In many cases the person begins talking about his or her life or lives before the present lifetime, about their previous death and about the time between lives including the planning of the present lifetime.
It is highly controversial, even among those studying afterlife evidence, but there are several reasons why some of these claims must be taken seriously:
• the regression frequently leads to a cure of a physical illness.
• in some cases the person regressed begins to speak an unlearned foreign language.
• in some cases the person being regressed remembers details of astonishing accuracy which when checked out are verified by the top historians.
• the emotional intensity of the experience is such that it convinces many formerly skeptical psychiatrists who are used to dealing with fantasy and imagined regressions.
• in some cases the alleged cause of death in an immediate past life is reflected in a birthmark in the present life.
THIS LIFE PAST LIFE
Dr. Keith Parsons, now retired, was formerly a BBC producer. Many of you will have watched his wonderful 54 minute documentary 'This Life, Next Life' which offers scientific evidence for the afterlife.
In his subsequent video, Keith presents three 'hypnosis' cases for which a huge amount of evidence has been found. He also examines the spontaneous past life memories of small children, with reference to the work of the late Professor Ian Stevenson of the University of Virginia. If you enjoy either of these documentaries you might also like his racy yet 'spirituaI' novel, 'Lucky James?' published in February 2016. All proceeds go to Medecins Sans Frontieres.
PETER RAMSTER'S REINCARNATION EXPERIMENTS
Psychologist Peter Ramster (now retired) created a television documentary in 1983 called "The Reincarnation Experiments." He took four clients across the world where they found amazing evidence of their past lives. They were housewives who had never left Australia before but under trance, had come up with all sorts of details about names of people and places. They were taken to Western European countries where they said they had been living in the 18th and 19th century. Prior to their arrival, in 1983, Ramster and local historians searched archives, looking for, and finding, the names given in Australia. Similarly, villages and hamlets mentioned under hypnosis were found on old maps. Some of these settlements no longer existed, yet some names given turned out to be correct.

After being wrongly convicted of murdering his wife, Michael Morton spent 25 years in jail. Fourteen years into his sentence, he called out for help from God. And shortly after that, everything started changing. Whereas before he was plotting revenge against the people who had withheld evidence that could free him, he deliberately chose to forgive them. And, after that, the wheels started turning so that the wrongs that had been done to him could be rectified.
Michael was freed and exonerated because of the dedication of volunteers through The Innocence Project.
THE POWER OF HO'OPONOPONO
Ho'oponopono means "to make right" or "to rectify an error." The practice involves a process of repentance, forgiveness, gratitude, and love. By repeating phrases like "I'm sorry," "Please forgive me," "I Thank you," and "I love you," individuals invite healing and purification from within.
Dr. Ihaleakala Hew Len demonstrated this process by healing himself to positively affect those around him, particularly during his time at the Hawaii State Hospital, where he transformed the lives of criminally insane patients through self-clearing (Giancarlo Serra) (Horizons Magazine). Read more.
