COMMENTARY: BEYOND REASONABLE DOUBT
In the Western legal system, there are two tests that evidence must satisfy. In civil cases (disputes about contract law, money and property) the test is "on the balance of probabilities" - 51%, or more likely than not.

But in criminal cases, a much stronger test is used - beyond reasonable doubt. Here the judge or jury must be convinced that the accused is guilty at a level of 90% or more. This is why sometimes a person who is found not guilty of a crime can still be successfully sued on a civil level by the victim who only has to prove "on the balance of probabilities".

However, when it comes to the existence of the afterlife, skeptics have made up a third level of proof, "the impossible to pass test". In a murder case, the testimony of ONE reliable witness is enough to convict a person of murder. But when it comes to the afterlife, the testimony of literally millions of people who say that they saw, heard, or felt their transitioned loved one is dismissed by the skeptics as "grief-induced hallucination" or something similar.



EVIDENCE BEYOND ANY DOUBT
Montague Keen was a brilliant psychic researcher, journalist, agricultural administrator, magazine editor, and farmer. A member of the Council of the Society for Psychical Research for 55 years he was secretary of its Survival Research Committee.

He died suddenly on 15 January, 2004 while speaking in defence of Rupert Sheldrake’s telepathy research during a public debate at the Royal Society of Arts in London.

Four months after his death, Montague materialised during a seance with physical medium David Thompson where he talked with three of his friends - fellow afterlife investigators who all recognised his voice. He then dictated a long speech to be read at his upcoming memorial service.

GORDON SMITH'S "BEYOND REASONABLE DOUBT"
Gordon Smith is a world-renowned Scottish medium, who travels the world offering his unique abilities to thousands of people in need. He has written numerous spiritual bestsellers about his work and now runs mediumship workshops and events across the globe.

His 2018 book "Beyond Reasonable Doubt" charts the rich and varied history of mediumship through the ages. In the foreword, a leading barrister, Maria Ahern, writes "I have assessed the evidence in this book. Just as I would in a trial. There is credible evidence from various unconnected sources all giving evidence that points the same way". She advises the reader: "Look at the evidence, assess it fairly, allow for any sensible and appropriate doubt, and reach your verdict".





THE 'GHOSTS' OF FLIGHT 401
One of the most authenticated cases of after-death contacts ever documented is the so-called "Ghosts of Flight 401." In December of 1972, an Eastern Airlines Tri-Star jetliner, Flight 401, crashed into a Florida swamp. The pilot, Bob Loft, and flight engineer, Don Repo, were two of the 101 people who perished in the air crash. Not long after the crash, the ghosts of Loft and Repo were seen on more than twenty occasions by crew members and passengers on other Eastern Tri-Stars, especially those planes which had been fitted with parts salvaged from the Flight 401 wreckage.

Many reports came from people in highly responsible positions: pilots, flight officers, even a vice president of Eastern Airlines, who allegedly spoke with a captain he assumed was in charge of the flight, before recognizing him as the late Loft. Other sightings are convincing because they had multiple witnesses. A flight’s captain and two flight attendants claim to have seen and spoken to Loft before take-off and watched him vanish – an experience that left them so shaken they canceled the flight.

As the reports would have it, Loft and Repo were watching over the passengers and crew of these Lockheed passenger planes. (See John G. Fuller's book for details). On one occasion Repo appeared to a captain and told him, "There will never be another crash. We will not let it happen." Read more.



UPLIFTING NDE OF BILL LETSON
Bill Letson had an NDE (Near-Death Experience) after contracting the flu. He flew through a star-filled realm and met three inter-dimensional beings and a high-vibrational source of absolute love. For Bill, his NDE was a life-altering experience.





PAST LIFE CONNECTIONS BETWEEN TWINS
In his investigation of children who remember past lives, Ian Stevenson (pictured) came upon 40 sets of twins. In 31 cases they were able to identify who the twins had been in their previous life. Five pairs had been married to each other, eleven had been siblings—two of them twins—six had been relatives of other kinds and nine had been friends, acquaintances, or business associates". BRUCE MOEN ON HOW TO MAKE CONTACT WITH THE AFTERLIFE
For decades the late Bruce Moen taught ordinary people how to open and develop their perception of nonphysical realities - including our "Afterlife". His classes around the world used a combination of meditation and imagination to explore other realities, and then verify the details they observed in those realities. See videos of his classes. His methods are still being used by Gordon Phinn who leads a free Zoom group twice a month called "Spirit Search and Rescue."





"IN TIMES OF WAR: MESSAGES OF WISDOM FROM SOLDIERS IN THE AFTERLIFE"

Spiritualism came to prominence in the West during the American Civil War and the two World Wars - times of mass passing. John Beecher's book is an anthology of 10 stories primarily from the World War I and WWII era involving messages that came through credible mediums from the “dead”. Afterllife researcher, Michael Tymn, summarises it as follows:

"The prevailing message of the stories has to do with the immediate post-death state, which frequently involves confusion, even unawareness that the person has in fact transitioned from the material world. To put it more bluntly, many people don’t immediately know that they have died. It’s as if they are in a dream they can’t escape from. Indications are, not only from this book but from many others like it, that having foreknowledge of what happens immediately after death can help a person to avoid such confusion and more alertly awaken to the reality of the afterlife environment. Sir William Crookes was one of the most respected scientists of his era — a Royal Society member, physicist, and pioneer of modern chemistry — who set out as a skeptic to investigate claims of life after death. What he observed challenged everything he believed about consciousness, identity, and survival beyond the physical body. MONKS WALK FOR PEACE IN USA
The Buddhist monks are still walking. Nearly two dozen monks from the Huong Dao Vipassana Bhavana Center in Fort Worth, led by Bhikkhu Pannakara, are walking 2,300 miles to Washington to promote national healing, unity and compassion. The journey began on Oct. 26 and is expected to end on Feb. 12.
