COMMENTARY:
SHARED NEAR-DEATH EXPERIENCES A GAME CHANGER A few years ago, it seemed like every month or so we would see news headlines claiming that some skeptic has "proved" that NDEs are hallucinations caused by oxygen deprivation, or an effect of the dying brain, or some other fanciful biologically-based explanation.
The fact that during NDEs people see and hear things that they could not possibly have normal access to is one of the most impressive lines of evidence that near-death experiences are far more than this. The book The Self Does Not Die: Verified Paranormal Phenomena from Near-Death Experiences (2nd edition 2023) by Titus Rivas, Anny Dirven, Rudolf H. Smit, Robert G. Mays, Janice Miner Holden (Editor) contains over 128 reliable, often firsthand, accounts of perceptions during NDEs that were later verified as accurate by independent sources.
Dr. Kenneth Ring and other researchers showed that another feature of many near-death experiences is a life review. The interesting thing about these is that they are not like replaying a video recording. Instead, experiencers see their lives from the perspective of everyone else they have interacted with. They access the feelings and memories of the other people involved. These are things that they would have no normal way of knowing. (Ring and Valarino 1998).
There are at least 15 lines of evidence that refute the "dying brain" theory. Still, the game-changer, the final piece of evidence that demolishes the biological argument, is that people can have an experience identical to an NDE when there is nothing physically wrong with them. Also, a bystander who is not ill or injured, can share aspects of another person's NDE.

"This clearly undermines the standard counter-explanation of near-death experiences that they have to do with the compromise of the oxygen flow to the patient's brain because the bystanders were not ill or injured, the surgeon was not ill or injured... George Hopkins was a farmer from Sussex in England, who died during harvest time around 1900. He returned in 1959 to share his experiences.

SPACE SHUTTLE CHALLENGER DISASTER On January 28, 1986, the Space Shuttle Challenger broke apart 73 seconds into its flight, killing all seven crew members aboard. The launch and subsequent disaster were seen live in many schools across the United States, partly because of the publicity given to the Teacher In Space program. Gordon is teaching the technique of conscious meditation to connect and assist souls needing help to complete their crossing over following the death of the physical body.
