Last week's report and all previous reports Throughout much of the world, Easter is celebrated - but many people in the affluent West do not think about its real meaning. Most of the younger ones think it's about chocolate bunnies and Easter eggs.
Conservative Christians claim that Easter is a celebration of the one and only person to be resurrected from the dead. But those who are informed about the afterlife fully accept that we ALL are "resurrected" instantly when we physically die and, as Spiritualists say, "Eternal progress is open to all human souls."
So, yes, enjoy your Easter eggs and Easter bunnies - symbols of new life, fertility, and the end of winter in the Northern Hemisphere. And enjoy the opportunity to meet up with your family and friends and celebrate the beauty and wonder of being alive. And at the same time, celebrate the fact that we have irrefutable evidence that life is eternal, love is immortal and death is only a horizon.
WHAT NEAR-DEATH EXPERIENCES REVEAL ABOUT LIFE AND BEYOND

Dr. George Rodonaia was a psychiatric researcher who worked for the KGB and later became a dissident. He was a scientist trained in materialism and did not believe in God. When he attempted to leave Russia, he was run down by the KGB, pronounced dead, and taken to the morgue for three days and nights. He returned to life during his own autopsy. When he left his body he went into a world of light and love and found out that God exists. He later moved to the U.S.A. and became an ordained priest in the Eastern Orthodox Church.
VERIDICAL ASPECTS OF HIS EXPERIENCE PMH Atwater documented two fascinating examples of Dr. Rodonaia's ability to see things while out of his body that were later proved to be correct. One of them later proved quite embarrassing to his wife, to the extent that she would not sleep in the same room with him for a year afterward. "He both saw and heard his wife picking out his gravesite. As she stood there looking at the grave site, in her head, she pictured several men she would consider for her next husband. She made a list for herself of their various qualities, pro, and con, to decide which one would be the most suitable."

THE CATHOLIC CHURCH AND EVP
Unknown to many Christians, the Catholic Church has been actively positive and encouraging towards the investigation of Electronic Voice Phenomena. Two of the earliest investigators were Italian Catholic priests, Father Ernetti and Father Gemelli, who came upon the phenomena by chance while they were recording Gregorian chants in 1952. Deeply troubled by Catholic teaching regarding contact with the dead, the two priests visited Pope Pius XII in Rome.
The Pope reassured them: "Dear Father Gemelli, you really need not worry about this. The existence of this voice is strictly a scientific fact and has nothing to do with spiritism. The recorder is totally objective. It receives and records only sound waves from wherever they come. This experiment may perhaps become the cornerstone for a building for scientific studies which will strengthen people's faith in a hereafter".
