COMMENTARY: SUGGESTIONS FOR NEWCOMERS TO AFTERLIFE RESEARCH
1. As well as looking at the evidence for the afterlife, read material that helps you to understand the big picture - the purpose of life. Briefly, this is about learning that we are here to have different experiences and to continue to learn and evolve spiritually. Read what credible spiritual teachers directly from the afterlife have taught us. Highly recommended are all the Silver Birch books. But ask your guides/higher self to lead you to the books/teachers that are right for you.

2. Start practicing unselfish service. This is a way to open the heart and get out of your head. This is critically important if you want to raise your vibrations to the level where you will start to experience synchronicities and have your own direct experiences of the afterlife.

3. Take time to meditate, to sit in stillness. This is important. Although you may be keen to share your discoveries, there is no need to debate with people who have not had the experiences that you have had.

4. Do not be discouraged by skeptics and materialists; remember that what you are discovering has the backing of some of the greatest minds that the world has ever seen.

COMMUNICATING WITH OUR LOVED ONES IN SPIRIT WITH EVP
Vicki Talbott is a retired TESOL/ Linguistics professor. When her only child, Braeden, died in a kayaking accident in 2000, they both already knew about the afterlife and Electronic Voice Phenomena (EVP). So it was not a surprise to Vicki when she started receiving messages from Braeden on her answerphone. What did surprise her, however, was that Braeden had already been coming through to a group of mothers experimenting with EVP. It seems that a group of children in the afterlife who called themselves and their parents 'The Big Circle' were working together to help each other to send messages to their parents by electronic means. Vicky joined the Big Circle and she and Braeden continue to work to communicate and unite children with their parents and teach about life everlasting.





HELEN DUNCAN'S RETURN
There are only a few physical mediums today that can facilitate reunions of those who have died with their living loved ones. One of the greatest recent ones was Rita Goold (later Rita Lorraine) a medium who demonstrated in England in the mid-1980s. In this report afterlife researcher and journalist Alan Cleaver claims that "the most convincing evidence I have witnessed was when Gena Brealey spoke for about an hour to her dead mother Helen Duncan [a famous physical medium] through medium Rita Goold". SAILOR DESCRIBES HIS FIRST EXPERIENCES IN THE AFTERLIFE THROUGH LESLIE FLINT
The following exchange took place on July 16th, 1966. A sailor by the name of Terry Smith claimed that he had drowned during World War 2 after the sinking of his ship HMS Hood. He gave a detailed description of what he discovered when he arrived in the Spirit World. He was talking to George Woods and Betty Greene and the medium was direct voice medium, Leslie Flint. The following is an edited version of that conversation read by the presenter. Listen to the original tape.





ON CROSSING OVER THERE IS NO JUDGMENT DAY Directly from the afterlife by highly credible Hugh Benson, a former Catholic Monsignor, He describes how he reassured a young man whom he had helped to cross over:
"Let me tell you at once, Roger, that there are no judges, or even a single great judge, anywhere in this world, the spirit world. Any judging to be done, we do it for ourselves and manage very nicely. You’ll find you will become extremely critical of yourself, as we all do. We can be very hard on ourselves even. So whatever you may have thought about Judgment Day, dismiss the whole idea from your mind. There is no such thing, there never has been, and there never will be. 'Now I expect you are wondering what is to happen next,' I went on. 'The answer to that is simple: Nothing!—at least for a little while, until you feel refreshed, and then we might all go off together and explore things a bit. How does that appeal to you?"
