COMMENTARY: THE INVITATION The message that is coming through spiritual teachers, channelled contacts, ETs, scientists, and ecologists is that human beings are being invited to recognise their interconnectedness with each other and with all-that-is.
Of course, there will be many who do not accept the invitation, and that will lead to conflict.
So, how can we make the best of these challenging times?
First and foremost we have to keep reminding ourselves of the big picture - that we are eternal multi-dimensional beings who, from all reports, have chosen to be here at this time. We know from the evidence that death is an illusion and that it cannot harm us or the ones we love. For the short time we are here, we can embrace the opportunity to help others and participate in a major awakening of consciousness. All we have to do is stay grounded in love and remember who we are.
As Silver Birch says:
“Do not allow dismay or fear to effect a lodgment within your being. Fear is the child of ignorance; knowledge should always drive out fear. You have access to the mightiest power in the universe. It is more majestic than any power known in your physical world. It is the supreme power. You can allow it to stream through and perform its beneficent work.” (Light from Silver Birch p.22).
DEATH IS NOT AN ENDPOINT Zach Bush M.D. worked in a hospice between December 2010 – December 2014. On one shift he heroically brought three different patients back from death. In each case, the patients said "Why did you bring me back? I went into this space and in that moment I felt completely accepted for the first time in my life."

Dr. Sally Rhine-Feather, then Director of the Rhine Research Laboratory, did a study of 433 cases of specific psychic warnings of danger. Sometimes the warnings were non-specific or outside the control of the reporter. But in those cases where action could be taken to avoid the event, two-thirds were successful.
One of the most dramatic of these cases was that of a streetcar conductor who had a dream of a terrible accident with a bright red truck. He awoke soaked in perspiration. Later that day a sequence of specific events began that triggered his memory of the dream. He slammed on the brakes and shut off the power. A truck shot directly in his path which his streetcar would certainly have hit had he not put on the brakes. He saw in the truck the same three people who, in his dream, he had seen dead and injured. "THE UNIVERSE HAS YOUR BACK" Elaine Thorpe is an English deep-trance medium and spirit artist. Her father was a physical medium and she had experiences with physical mediumship from the age of 15. When she began her own training as a medium, in her 30s, she went into deep trance and brought through the spirit of Jonathan Hunter, a Victorian gentleman who lived from 1845-91. The spirit team coat the medium's vocal cords with ectoplasm so that Jonathan's voice sounds very much as it would through independent direct-voice. WHEN YOU DIE YOUR CONSCIOUSNESS EXPANDS Neurosurgeon Dr. Eben Alexander says that science shows that the brain does not control consciousness and that there is reason to believe our consciousness continues after death, giving validity to the idea of an afterlife. He talks about quantum physics giving a theoretical underpinning for the afterlife.
ARTHUR YENSEN WAS AN ATHEIST WHO WENT TO HEAVEN In August of 1932, Arthur Yensen, a university graduate, geologist, and staunch materialist, was in a car accident and had a near-death experience. His later talks about what he discovered during his NDE often brought criticism, especially from the church of the day. But some people did listen, and as time wore on, more and more people asked him about it. Finally, in 1955, Arthur Yensen published a fascinating report of his near-death experience in a booklet called 'I Saw Heaven', in which he answers many of the questions people ask about the afterlife. Many of the things he described have been confirmed by other experiencers.
GARNET SCHULHAUSER TALKS ABOUT HIS ASTRAL ADVENTURES Garnet Shulhauser's talk at last week's Global Gathering left everyone astounded. He was a corporate lawyer with no interest in anything spiritual when he encountered a homeless man who seemed to know all about him. What followed was a series of amazing revelations that changed his life in a way that he described his 2012 book 'Dancing on a Stamp'. Since then he has written four other books detailing his astral travels and visits to other planets and alternative realities - 'Dancing Forever with Spirit', 'Dance of Heavenly Bliss', 'Dance of Eternal Rapture', and 'Dancing with Angels in Heaven'. TWO TEENAGE BOYS WANTED TO DO SOMETHING FOR THE HOMELESS Nic Marchesi and Lucas Patchett took part in a school program giving food to the homeless from a van in a Brisbane park. When they left school they installed a couple of washing machines and dryers in the back of their own old van and took it to the same park in Brisbane to wash and dry clothes for free. They stumbled on to something much bigger and more significant than clean clothes - the power of connection. Their organization, Orange Sky, has expanded to 29 services across Australia and New Zealand, run by over 1,000 volunteers. Check out the inspiring video stories.
