COMMENTARY: WHEN DOES THE SOUL LEAVE THE BODY?
One of the comforting things that we learn from near-death experiencers, and also from spirit sources, is that when death is likely, for instance in a car accident, the spirit can choose to be taken out of the body before impact.
One such dramatic account is contained in the book, 'Remember Every Breath is Precious: Dying Taught Me How to Live' by Near-death experiencer Lesley Joan Lupo. The author describes the moment of her transition as follows: "The only thing I remember was me, my essence, my soul, popping out of my body several seconds before it was caught up in a stampede... The total calm and serenity that I, the observer, felt was a stark contrast to my screaming human form. I wondered if everyone disconnected like this before they died?"
Well the answer, thankfully, seems to be yes - if that is the pre-agreed plan of the spirit. There are many accounts of people "popping out" of the body and watching the moment of impact from above. Even in cases where the person dies of illness, we are told that the soul can cross over well before the physical end.

AFTER-DEATH CONTACT FROM A SON
Fred Zimmerman had a terrible premonition that his son, Eric, was going to die. A few weeks later, his wife, Marilyn, awoke in the middle of the night at the very moment that Eric was killed. In the years following they had numerous signs from Eric, including seeing and hugging him. A reading from medium George Anderson confirmed their experiences.

Growing up in Africa, he had many experiences with animals, and with those who protect and those who hunt them. He promises us a rich tangential discussion of his life as a passionate conservationist, vegan, and advocate for animals. He says, "animals are crucial to our spiritual evolution...
