COMMENTARY: PERSONAL EXPERIENCE AS AFTERLIFE EVIDENCE Although we try to emphasise afterlife evidence that is independently verifiable and repeatable, we also regard personal experiences of direct afterlife contact to be very important. The personal experience is compelling, and many times it is far more convincing to that particular person (and those they share the experience with) than any eloquent scientific presentation of the afterlife evidence.
Like thousands of others, we experienced direct afterlife contact through witnessing reunions of sitters with their materialised loved ones through a physical medium. These were powerful personal experiences that changed our lives completely because they were absolutely and completely convincing. Many others have had spontaneous after-death contact with a loved one without the assistance of a medium -
sometimes seeing, hearing, and touching them.
We are fortunate to live in a time when people can share their personal experiences of afterlife contact far and wide. Many of us are fascinated by the consistency of the accounts of near-death experiences which are becoming much more common with the development of medical procedures that bring people back from the early stages of death. Techniques have been developed to allow people to have a past-life or between life regression, an out-of-body experience, or, a contact via EVP or ITC. All of these leave those who experience them in no doubt that the afterlife exists.
AFTER-DEATH COMMUNICATIONS - WHO HAS THEM AND WHAT IMPACT DO THEY HAVE? This excerpt from the IANDS 2021 Virtual Conference shows Dr. Jennifer Kim Pemberthy's presentation on an international survey on who is most likely to experience ADCs and what impact they have on their lives.
APPLIED PHYSICIST ARGUES THAT SCIENCE NEEDS TO BE UPGRADED Claude Swanson Ph.D.
collated what he considered the "best evidence" illustrating the inadequacy of our present scientific paradigm in his book, "The Synchronized Universe" (2002). He described scientifically controlled remote viewing and ESP experiments, demonstrations of long-range healing, psychokinesis (mind over matter), scientifically controlled experiments in levitation, teleportation, and out of body phenomena (OBE). He outlined numerous examples of these strange forces being demonstrated under rigorous scientific conditions, with odds of millions or even billions to one against chance. Based on this evidence he concluded: " It's our science that needs to be upgraded. It cannot progress by ignoring real things that happen in the universe. If we want a correct theory of physics and science it needs to include all the phenomena. Science needs to enlarge itself and grow up and include the phenomena that right now are being ignored." COMMUNICATING WITH OUR LOVED ONES IN SPIRIT WITH EVP Vicki Talbott is a retired TESOL/ Linguistics professor. When her only child Braeden died in a kayaking accident in 2000, they both already knew about the afterlife and Electronic Voice Phenomena (EVP). So it was not a surprise to Vicki when she started receiving messages from Braeden on her answerphone. What did surprise her, however, was that Braeden had already been coming through to a group of mothers experimenting with EVP. It seems that a group of children in the afterlife who called themselves and their parents 'The Big Circle' were working together to help each other to send messages to their parents by electronic means. Vicky joined the Big Circle and she and Braeden continue to work to communicate and unite children with their parents and teach about life everlasting.

HELEN DUNCAN'S RETURN There are very few physical mediums today that can facilitate reunions of those who have died with their living loved ones. One of the greatest was Rita Goold (now Rita Lorraine) a medium who demonstrated in England in the mid 1980s. In this report afterlife researcher and journalist Alan Cleaver claims that "the most convincing evidence I have witnessed was when Gena Brealey spoke for about an hour to her dead mother Helen Duncan [a famous physical medium] through medium Rita Goold". SHE CLAIMS TO HAVE COMMUNICATED WITH ANGELS In her book "To Hear the Angels Sing", Dorothy Maclean, one of the creators of the Findhorn Community, writes about communicating with angels:

MAGICIAN CONVINCED BY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE In the 1920s Howard Thurston was billed as 'the world's most famous magician'. He offered $10,000 to mediums who could do anything that he could not reproduce by trickery. He was claiming that he had exposed over three hundred fraudulent mediums and that he could reproduce the 'tricks' of physical mediums using a rubber hand.
Medium Arthur Ford offered a counter-challenge that he would pay him $10,000 if Thurston could prove his claims about fraudulent mediums and have his rubber hand walk across the room and tell him his (Ford's) father's real name, something that Ford said was "a kindergarten test for a real medium". The press demanded a public showdown. The night came and Thurston was a huge embarrassing failure. He could only come up with the names of three mediums he claimed were frauds, all of whom were dead. Then he claimed he had left his rubber hand at home. Later Thurston publicly apologized to Arthur Ford and told him "Under my own conditions and in my own hotel room I have proofs of survival which, satisfy me. A RATIONAL BELIEF IN THE AFTERLIFE Piero Calvi-Parisetti M.D. is a medical doctor originally specialising in Public Health and Disaster Management. He has worked extensively for the International Red Cross and the United Nations and was later a university lecturer for 17 years. The thing that stood out for me was the article "CONSIDERATION FOR OTHERS: A SPIRITUAL QUALITY TO BE NURTURED". I am noticing on the pages I follow on FB and other social media that people are too easily being short, snide and mean to each other. If we are truly aiming toward being the best version of ourselves, this has to STOP!!
