COMMENTARY: RELIGION IN THE AFTERLIFE? Whilst there are five major religions in our world today - Christianity, Hinduism, Judaism, Buddhism, and Islam - some writers estimate that there are some 4,200 religions and 'faiths'. Do people continue to follow them all in the afterlife?
We are told that in the initial stages, members of earth religions still gather together to continue their religious practice. We are told that they have temples and preachers and many think that they have reached the 'heaven' which was promised only to their followers. Out-of-body experiencers like Robert Monroe call these states "belief system territories". Some are described as pleasant, some as oppressive and most seem to be boring. People stay in them until they begin to question and gradually awaken to the one true religion of love which exists in the higher areas of the afterlife. (An excellent book on this subject is William Bulhman's Adventures in the Afterlife).
However, at the higher levels of consciousness, the true "heavens", there is only one 'religion' where there is recognition of one creator/source and the unity of all.
DANIEL GIROUX'S NDE: THE GREATEST SURPRISE OF MY WORLD Daniel Giroux talks about his NDE (Near Death Experience) and what it felt like to die, see the other side and come back. He also talks about the strange abilities he had afterwards.
APPARITIONS SEEN BY MORE THAN ONE PERSON Some of the recorded cases of people appearing to their loved ones after their death record witness statements by more than one person. For example in a case investigated by the Society for Psychical Research, nine people resident in a house in Ramsbury, England saw a man who had died ten months previously. He was always seen beside his dying widow's bedside with his hand placed on her forehead and was visible for up to half an hour at a time (Holzer 1965: 52-56). Professor Hart in his book The Enigma of Survival (1959) claims that between one third and two thirds of all people who appear after death are seen by more than one person, and are seen differently by each viewer according to the position the viewer is sitting in.
LLOYD AUERBACH ON WORKING WITH PSYCHICS AND MEDIUMS IN CASE INVESTIGATIONS Many parapsychologists are happy to investigate the "paranormal" but reluctant to embrace what they call "the spirit hypothesis". Fortunately, this is not the case with parapsychologist Loyd Auerbach who is a long-standing president of the Forever Family Foundation and has a long involvement with the Windbridge Research Center and the Rhine Research Center.
CELEBRITIES INVOLVED WITH MEDIUMSHIP: QUEEN VICTORIA IN ENGLAND 1819-1901 The British royal family has been in the news recently but what has not been mentioned is the family's acceptance of Spiritualism that began with Queen Victoria. When her beloved husband, Albert, died at the age of 42, the young queen was plunged into grief and withdrew from public life for three years. The only thing that seemed to help her was her close friendship with one of her servants, a Scot named John Brown (pictured with some of Victoria's dogs). Their close relationship was the subject of gossip and it was rumored that the two were secretly married.
But in 1960 Queen Victoria came through in a seance with Leslie Flint and explained in her own voice, that John Brown had been her medium, and had enabled her to maintain contact with her beloved Albert. She kept detailed diaries of all their seances and the messages that came from Albert, but after she died everything was destroyed to protect her position as head of the Church of England.

THE REINCARNATION RESEARCH OF WALTER SEMKIW M.D.Dr. Semkiw talks about his website www.reincarnationresearch.com which presents the work of Dr. Ian Stevenson in an easy-to-follow format. It also presents work he has been doing with psychic medium Kevin Ryerson who channels Ahtun Re. Walter claims that Ahtun Re is able to validate details of people's previous lives. He explains that news reports of UFOs are opening people's minds to new paradigms and making them more open to reincarnation - something that he sees as important for human evolution. “As reincarnation research shows we can change religion, nationality, and race from one lifetime to another, evidence of reincarnation will help us transcend tribal mindset and bring greater world peace.”
THIS LIFE, PAST LIFE: A DOCUMENTARY BY KEITH PARSONS The video looks at three 'hypnosis' cases with veridical evidence. It also examines the spontaneous past life memories of small children, with reference to the work of the late Professor Ian Stevenson of the University of Virginia, and in particular to a BBC documentary on his work made in 1992.

OVERCOMING PTSD WITH LOVE OF DOGS
For 11 years, Luke Evans gave his life to the navy, first as a clearance diver, then as a special forces officer. He completed three tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan before retiring. Like many veterans, he found himself having difficulty adjusting to civilian life. He says he felt unemployable. Unable to get funding for re-training, Luke decided to work with his childhood passion - dogs. Initially, he did courses in dog training and dog psychology and walked dogs.
