COMMENTARY: A TIME
FOR REFLECTION AND GRATITUDE Our
very warmest wishes to all of our subscribers for Christmas,
Hanukkah, and all the celebrations of family, community,
and culture that take place at this special time of the
year. Many of us will enjoy reunions with family and friends.
Those on the spiritual path know very well that this is
just a preview of the reunions which we will experience
when we re-unite with our crossed over loved ones at the
end of this very short episode in our eternal existence.
Our special wishes go out to those for whom the holidays
are challenging. But whatever our situation, at this time
of year and at all times, we all have reason to express
gratitude. Why? Because we have knowledge that we are
part of an extraordinary ongoing evolutionary adventure.
And we know that, however difficult, the opportunity of
a physical life is an enormous spiritual gift and that
those in spirit are applauding our courage for being here,
and are cheering us on.
DIRECTLY FROM THE AFTERLIFE “You
will all live after you have ‘died’, and you
will not realize until then what it is to live or to feel
the real glory of life untrammeled, free to rejoice in
liberty of spirit which your imprisoned souls cannot understand
to-day … all the experiences which you like least

your souls …But you cannot realize that at the time.
It is only when you can look back on the whole, and not
judge by the part, that you can get a clear picture of

that they are beyond many of your intellectuals!".

AND NOW FOR SOME MORE GOOD NEWS Dr. Angus Hervey from Future

chose to take part in this crazy, collective global experiment:

HOW DO THE HIGHER SPIRITS CELEBRATE
CHRISTMAS IN THE
SPIRIT WORLD?

has said on the matter. "At what might be called
retreats here on earth, these advanced spirits take counsel
from even higher spirits, share experiences, learn how
far they have succeeded or failed, and formulate plans

ROSEMARY'S NDE AND SPONTANEOUS

BRAZILIAN SURGEON TALKS ABOUT HIS
EXPERIENCES OF MATERIALIZATION
Dr. Paulo Cesar Fructuoso is leading surgeon who has had
extensive experience with physical mediumship in present-day
Brazil. At first, he was concerned that going public with
his accounts of materialised spirits operating on patients
would affect his career. But then he learned from his

STUNNING EVIDENCE
FOR THE AFTERLIFE:
CHESS GAME WITH A DEAD GRANDMASTER Swiss
Parapsychologist Dr. Wolfgang Eisenbeiss set up a chess
game between two grandmasters, one living and the other
in the spirit world. He asked a medium, Robert Rollans,
to try to contact a deceased grandmaster who was willing
to play. Rollans was a person of integrity who knew absolutely
nothing about chess. Rollans claimed he had contact from
Géza Maróczy, the strongest player in the
world from 1904-1907, who was willing to play.
His living opponent was Viktor Korchnoi, then ranked third
in the world. The game went on for seven years. While
it was going on, Maróczy, the grandmaster in spirit,
wrote 38 pages of biographical information in response
to Eisenbeiss' questions. Eisenbeiss then obtained the
services of Laszlo Sebestyén, a historian and chess
expert, to find out if the information could be verified.
Out of 92 statements made by the spirit Maróczy,
Sebestyén, who dug into library records and interviewed
two of Maróczy's surviving children and a cousin,
was able to confirm 85 of them as factual. The remaining
seven may have been factual, but no records could be found

SPIRIT RELEASE THERAPY IN SPIRITISM Last Sunday, Luis Sergio
Marotta talked with us about Spiritist healing circles
conducted by mediums in Brazil following the teachings
of medium Chico Xavier. He claims that unresolved conflicts
can lead to people being negatively affected by the influence
of spirits no longer alive. The aim of the therapy is
to facilitate forgiveness by creating a dialogue with
the discarnate person.
