WHY TRADITIONAL CHRISTIAN BURIAL CEREMONIES ARE CHANGING
In Australia, people are voting with their
feet and choosing non-traditional burial services rather
than religious ones (see
report). Apart from the excessive expense and high
mark-ups charged by funeral companies, one of the biggest
criticisms of traditional religious services is their
inability to give comfort to the mourners.

Hugh Benson, communicating through medium Anthony Borgia,
gives this example taken from his church's burial service:
"...From morning watch even until night, let
Israel hope in the Lord .... And he shall
redeem Israel from all his iniquities
..." As he says, how can the mention of Israel
help anyone who has just crossed over, or their loved
ones?
He also claims that "Church burial services, as they
are at present constituted, both as to time of performance
and spiritual content, are mostly TOO LATE to be of any
practical spiritual value to the departed person,"
since the moment the spirit leaves the body, it is met
by loved ones who will help the new arrival go to the
realm of the Light. This is the time when prayers are
most helpful, especially if the person has died suddenly
and may be in a state of some confusion. The many dedicated
ministers of religion deserve more support in being able
to give those who are grieving accurate knowledge of the
afterlife and support instead of meaningless platitudes.

ARE LOVED ONES, RELATIVES AND FRIENDS ALWAYS REUNITED

is a frequently asked question. The natural law of the
Spirit tells us
"like attracts like." This means that on crossing
over, we will find ourselves living in the afterlife with
those who share the same intersts and are more or less
on the same spiritual level as we are. Those who are more
advanced may choose to spend time with us through ties
of love, just as we may choose to spend time with those
we are helping.
DO ANIMALS HAVE 'GUIDES?'

have soul guides to help protect and lead them through
