COMMENTARY: MATERIALISM vs SPIRITUALITY According to Silver Birch, who was passing on messages from higher beings, "Materialism, by its very nature, is the worship of greed, selfishness and cupidity, concerned with the individual's pleasures and possessions to the exclusion of thought or care for others who share this planet. ... Materialism is responsible for antagonisms, wars, jealousies. These are by-products of materialism which proclaims that matter is all, death is the end of human life, and therefore that it is logical to look after the things of matter...".

SPIRITUALITY is the understanding that we are spirit having a human experience, that death is just a transition to further experience and that the purpose of this life is to love and unselfishly help others. But we know that spiritual knowledge always brings responsibility - because we are "ambassadors of the Divine."



DR. RAYMOND MOODY TALKS ABOUT SHARED DEATH EXPERIENCES

LOVED ONES WHO COME TO GREET THE DYING ARE SOMETIMES SEEN BY OTHERS There are many cases on record with the Society of Psychical Research where the spirit visitors, at the bedside of a dying person, were seen by others, sometimes by several persons at the same time.
• In one well documented case a death-bed apparition was seen by the dying woman, Harriet Pearson, and by three relatives who were caring for her (Journal of the Society for Psychical Research Feb 1904:185-187).
• In another case of a young boy dying, two witnesses independently saw his recently deceased mother at the child's bedside (Proceedings of the Society for Psychical Research, Vol. 6 p.20).

PHYSICIST RUSSEL TARG CLAIMS WE ALL HAVE PSYCHIC ABILITIES Dr. Russell Targ claims that physicists are the new parapsychologists since they are constantly dealing with effects that old-science would call "super-normal". Dr. Elisabeth Targ, daughter of Dr. Russell Targ, was a brilliant doctor and researcher into spiritual healing. She died in 2002 from a brain tumor at the age of 42. After her death, her co-researcher, Dr. Jane Katra, received more than 35 unexpected communications from her. They started a few hours after her transition. JAYNE SMITH: NDE IN 1954 This is the remarkable testimony of Jayne Smith who died while giving birth. She went to the other side and brought back a wealth of information. Not all will be well received by organized religion.

 

QUESTION: Protection, help and inspiration "Victor, I come across information telling me that we have special guides to help us. So many things are going the wrong way lately I have my doubts about spiritual protection. How true is it about the spirit guides?" Jerrie S.

Victor: We are informed directly from the afterlife, from highly credible sources, that yes, that we do have a 'guardian' from the moment of our birth to help us, to guide us, to protect us and to help us fulfil our life's plan. So, in your meditation do spend some time sending messages to your guardian, thanking him/her for all the inspiration, help and protection. We are also informed that in addition to our main guardian, there will be other guides to help us. But never forget, we have free will, and they cannot intervene unless given permission; so remember to ask for help, for protection, for guidance and for inspiration.

QUESTION ON HOMOSEXUALITY When I was a boy I was told by a priest that homosexuals do not go to heaven. That still worries me. What do you think Victor?

Victor: We now know that sexual preference is totally irrelevant in the afterlife. The critical thing on crossing over is your level of spirituality. If you kept away from selfishness, cruelty, exploitation and hurting other people and if you sincerely helped others you will go to the realm of the Light - sexual preference would be totally irrelevant.
Open-minded Christians understand that. I think conservative Christian bosses should not make up their own rules about going to the realm of the light - they know nothing about the real circumstances of the afterlife. In the New Testament when a man asked Jesus what he must do to enter heaven, only six things were stated (in St Mark). Jesus never said anything about sexual preference. BLACK HOLES An entity claiming to be from the Sixth Level in the afterlife dimension transmitted this very interesting claim which contradicts current scientific thinking about 'black holes' through her medium Judy Laddon (Beyond the Veil): "These dense areas exist, but matter is not sucked into them. Matter emerges from them. These are growth points of your physical world. It is true that light does not penetrate their depth, for the density is immense. But matter emerges from them and fathers new worlds."

For many years, I have been studying the various fields of parapsychology including near-death experiences (NDEs), reincarnation, after-death communications (ADCs), death-bed visions (DBVs), precognition, telepathy, clairvoyance, psychokinesis, poltergeists, demonization, transdimensional communications, physical and mental mediumship, etc.

I have read ninety-four of such books since I started keeping track and in my top five is Dr. Victor Zammit's book, "A Lawyer Presents the Evidence for the Afterlife."I have purchased multiple copies of his book and encouraged others to read it.

One of my friends, who was basically agnostic before reading it, now says he is excited about who we are and no longer afraid of death. As any good lawyer would do, Dr. Zammit thoroughly researched his case and gathered the best examples of NDEs, ADCs, DBVs, mediums, and so on, all of which are evidence for survival of consciousness after death. And also like a good lawyer, he is concise. He makes his case and leaves it in the hands of the jury (us) to decide. It's a marvelous book. I enjoyed every page.
