PROFESSOR GARY SCHWATZ PROVES MEDIUMSHIP GENUINE Professor Gary Schwartz (left) and colleagues at the University of Arizona conducted a number of research studies with some of the top mediums in the United States including (in order of working with them) Laurie Campbell, John Edward, Suzanne Northrop, George Anderson. Dr Schwartz writes: "These mediums have been tested under experimental conditions that rule out the use of fraud and cold reading techniques commonly used by psychic entertainers and mental magicians."

EVIDENCE: Is 'legal' and 'science' evidence the same?-Someone asked me if I could write something briefly and simple about 'evidence' - and to make a distinction between 'legal' evidence and evidence as used by scientists. In criminal law, the police have to prove "beyond reasonable doubt". The jury assess the evidence- usually the testimony of eye witnesses and of forensic specialists. They will be influenced by the credibility of the witnesses and by their motivation.
Scientific evidence tends to be based on numbers of trials and statistical analysis. But sadly the credibility of the scientists and their bias is not usually examined, which is a huge problem.
Those scientists who are working for big companies tend to see things the way the their employer wants the evidence seen- especially in testing of the safety of drugs. In the past we had physicians - working for the tobacco industry - who stated in public that the evidence was that there is no harm in smoking tobacco! Scientists generally will never allow lawyers to cross examine them on the evidence because by law they have to answer the question and their motivation becomes an issue. For years I have been challenging closed minded skeptical scientists to be cross examined. No one will risk their reputation publicly!!

 

QUESTION: THE 'AURA' - Victor what can you tell me about the human aura. Someone told me that there are those who can know if a person is likely to have serious health problems by reading his aura. That true?

Victor: The answer is 'yes and no.' First, the really gifted psychic will be in a position to read a person's aura and would know if one is likely to have serious illness such as cancer and other illness. I know of a colleague of mine who was informed by a gifted psychic that he should see a doctor straight away because the gifted psychic (at the time in India) could detect serious prostate problems. When he returned my colleague was told by the doctor that the person in India saved his life by the early warning. But BE VERY CAUTIOUS because not every psychic can read auras - and the less gifted could perhaps unintentionally mislead you.
