COMMENTARY:
THERE HAS TO BE A BETTER WAY! I
just cannot believe the low level of journalism
in our newspapers. Whilst it is granted that the
owners of the press have to maximize profits,
they do have a huge responsibility to present
‘decent’ and balanced journalism.
The press gives extreme attention to materialism
and completely ignores spirituality. Whilst materialist
values and the cult of "entertainment celebrity"
are grossly promoted, spiritual matters and the
huge consequences of the inevitability of the
afterlife are virtually ignored in the mainstream
press.
These last 12 months for example,
in one newspaper – The Telegraph - the ‘worst’
of the Sydney mainstream papers – has been
giving 'celebrity' criminals and drug addicts
over-generous 'star status’, showing their
pictures on the first two pages - implying adulation
and acceptance of their social habits. And it
seems that this is the standard situation in popular
newspapers and magazines in the USA and Britain
as well. Many people I know think it's really
sick!!
There has to be a better way!

THE ILLUSION OF REALITY
Even watching a few minutes of

enough to force us to realise that the concept
of a solid materialistic universe is an illusion.
UNINFORMED
SKEPTIC'S UNFAIR ATTACK ON THE SCOLE EXPERIMENTS
This
week I had an email from a concerned reader
who had read on the internet an uninformed criticism
of the Scole experiments that many people, including
myself, consider some of the best documented evidence
of the afterlife in recent times (see Chapter
8 of my book). Fortunately Robin Foy was kind
enough to write a full response. We strongly recommend
anyone interested in investigating the evidence
for the afterlife to read Robin's book "Witnessing
the Impossible," the only full account
of the Scole experiments.
ROBIN FOY's RESPONSE
Hi Emma,
Such
negative reports and 'supposed eureka theories'
by these arch skeptics such as Brian Dunning are
commonplace when you consider that a google search
for 'scole experiment' can produce over 36,000,000
hits!!!
You will notice that none of these arch skeptics
actually sat with us during the 5 year experiment,
which chalked up over 1,000 hours of genuine physical
phenomena.
Most do not even do their homework before launching
such negative diatribes, and all are less than
economical with the facts and the truth in their
articles. For instance, there were only 4 of us
involved in the final experiments, of whom only
2 (not Sandra and I) were the mediums. None of
us even met Richard Wiseman, let alone have him
sit with us, and a senior member of the Inner
Magic Circle (a former Stage Magician) did sit
with us on more than 1 occasion. He was able to
confirm that it would have been impossible in
the same circumstances, for a stage magician or
illusionist to duplicate the phenomena under the

PROBLEM: What apparently many
people do not know is that internationally
well known Michael Douglas, the Hollywood
actor, was a heavy smoker for many years.
This is a cause-effect situation where
smoking will cause huge problems - (cancer)-
and even death whether one is a newspaper
journalist from 'Malborough Country'
or a Hollywood star celebrity. I know
a couple of people who smoke. A most
interesting observation is this: one
of them, an extreme closed minded skeptic
refuses to believe the link between
smoking and cancer - claiming there
is no proof for that. It is just spectacular
how the mind of a tobacco addict rationalizes
evidence which is warning him that tobacco
is going to kill him. What he does of
course is his business - but ultimately,
all rationalizing aside, he really should
know the consequences of the things
he does..
WHAT HAPPENS
WHEN YOU DIE? ADDICTIONS: It
is important to know that if a person
here on earth is heavily addicted
to drugs, alcohol or tobacco - or to
some other strong addiction - at
the time of crossing over the addictions
strongly persist for an indefinite period
of time. Even if one happens to be on
the spiritual path - if one develops
an addiction, that addiction lingers
on. This is because addictions are a
MIND- not brain- problem. And the MIND
survives. To reduce problems on crossing
over, we need to do our best not to
be addicted to anything.
WHAT HAPPENS
TO YOU WHEN YOU DIE: SPIRIT LAWS DO NOT

STEPHEN HAWKING BLUNDERS ABOUT GOD: a
press release just late to-day quoted Prof. Stephen
Hawking as saying that ‘God
did not make the universe’ – it was
created from gravity: “Because there
is a law of gravity, the universe can and will
create itself from nothing.” (Where
did gravity come from?). Hawking may be a physicist,
but may also be rather silly as an analyst. It
is more plausible to accept a cause-effect connection.
Hawking does NOT explain the INTELLIGENCE in the
universe, the intelligence in EVERYTHING we see.
He would argue that intelligence
created itself – but in a
court situation, a judge would be more amenable
to ‘cause and effect’ argument –
that ‘intelligent energy’(God)
is the cause of the universe, and the cause of
everything. It was not created because energy
cannot be created nor can it be destroyed –
'designed' energy can only be transformed, e.g.
the universe and everything else. Hawking used
to believe in God in his earlier years –
but after his serious physical problems - he stated
words to the effect, no personal God would
allow this to happen to me.
QUESTION:
In your latest youtube video God Without Religion
you mentioned that God was the 'first cause.'
Then who made the first cause? And how does the
'big-bang fit into your explanation of God? R.

If you watch the video again you will see that
I defined 'God' as 'the Supreme Intelligent Energy'.
You should know as a scientist that energy cannot
be created or destroyed, only transformed. This
would mean that as 'supreme intelligent energy'
God always existed. The universe is easy to explain
using my definition of God and 'cause-effect'
rationale - the universe is transformed
energy - whether or not there was a 'big-bang'.
QUESTION:
DOES THE END JUSTIFY THE MEANS? You said recently
in one of your items,"WARNING
TO THOSE WHO DO DIRTY WORK:
it does not matter who you are, guaranteed, you
will NOT get away with it!" What if
the so called 'dirty work' is done for a greater
good - e.g. killing or hurting one innocent man
to save a hundred innocent men - would the law
of cause and effect still operate? S. P. uk.
Victor: Very
good question. There are always exceptions when
it comes to 'fault' and each matter will be dealt
on its own merits. Always remember, that motive
precedes action. I was referring to a situation
where one was knowingly exceeding his/her powers
to do dirty work to fundamentally adversely affect
somebody else - done for personal advantage or
profit. I agree in any spiritual assessment of
an 'adverse act' there will be mitigating circumstances
- same as we have them in the courts to-day.
REASONABLENESS!
Occasionally
I get some newcomers to afterlife
matters who demand
instant answers to an extensive list
of questions. They show they have not
done any preliminary reading or research;
they have not read my afterlife book
- not even chapter
29 about what happens when we die.
They seem to think that they can superimpose
their "earth logic" onto the
afterlife dimension and expect detailed
answers to all their questions in one
email.
Please remember that it takes time,
personal experience, judgment and research
to BEGIN to get your own answers, which
is what we all have to do.
It took me some TWENTY-ONE years of
dedicated research to get to know what
I know. And I consider myself as being
very fortunate to have the opportunity
to obtain information directly from
the afterlife myself by talking to 'William'
