COMMENTARY: THE MIRACLE OF INDEPENDENT DIRECT VOICE Imagine sitting in a dark room and hearing the voice of your "dead" loved one speaking to you for half an hour. They joke with you, tell you what they have been doing, and tell you things that you have changed in your home. And they promise that you will be together when you have completed your time in the "Earth school".
This is the gift given to humanity by an exceedingly rare
kind of physical medium - one with the gift of independent direct voice. The voice does not come out of the mouth of the medium, rather it seems to come from over their head.
The Spirit team are able to create an artificial voice box outside the medium's body made with ectoplasm- a substance taken from the medium's body. In the photo on the left, you can see the ectoplasmic voicebox on the left shoulder of medium Leslie Flint.
There have been many famous direct voice mediums in the USA and UK but we know most about English direct medium Leslie Flint largely because we have wonderful recordings of his seances and private sessions. They were lovingly digitised and provided with transcriptions by volunteers and made available free of charge on the Leslie Flint Trust website.
Listen as George Frederick Olsen (deceased) talks to his friends, George Woods, Betty Green and the medium Leslie Flint, at this 1967 seance. Olsen describes his arrival in the Spirit World and the conditions of life he experiences there. He explains how his knowledge of life after death helped him immensely, on his arrival.

THE MOST PERSUASIVE EVIDENCE OF THE AFTERLIFE EVER: THE ANNIE NANJI TAPES
Between 1970 and 1983, Dr. Dinshaw R. Nanji, a retired Indian doctor of chemistry and lecturer at Birmingham University, visited direct-voice medium Leslie Flint twice a year for private sittings. Each time, he was fortunate to be able to communicate directly with his Swedish wife, Annie Ottilia Nanji, who had "died" in 1966.

DR. WALTER SEMKIW M.D. ON THE PRINCIPLES OF REINCARNATION In 1996, California medical doctor Walter Semkiw, MD embarked on researching a possible past life of his own. He began working closely with medium Kevin Ryerson, a trance channel in the tradition of Edgar Cayce, who channels a spirit guide named Ahtun Re. FAR MEMORY: THE STORY OF JOAN GRANT
Joan Grant was a very strange woman who wrote seven historical novels based entirely on her memories of past lives. They were best sellers and history experts praised her work for its research-based authenticity. So she created quite a stir when she confessed to remembering these stories as past lives, and stating she had done no historical research at all. WHAT IS MINDFULNESS?
‘Mindfulness’ simply means slowing down and paying attention to the present moment. When you are fully present and aware of your sensations, emotions, and thoughts, you are being mindful. It stops you from getting lost in thoughts of the past or the future, something which often causes needless stress. People can practice mindfulness naturally when they watch a scene of breathtaking beauty or listen to beautiful music or play with an animal.

Global Gathering: Our guest this week is filmmaker and author Dan Drasin who will speak about The Luminator,
a device that apparently creates a field in its environment that enables paranormal photography.
It was originally developed as a diagnostic device by an engineer and therapist, Patrick Richards: Polaroid photographs of healthy clients taken within the Luminator’s field would turn out as expected; those of ill, or out-of-balance, clients would display baffling anomalies such as additional faces, impossible angles of view, anomalous light effects, transparency of solid objects, and various kinds of distortions.
Dan is currently assembling a short video about the Luminator, based on photographs and footage he took way back in 2001 before he dove into his films on afterlife communication. At our Gathering, he’ll be presenting some of the materials he’s planning to include in this new video.
