COMMENTARY: WHEN YOU HAVE AN AFTERLIFE EXPERIENCE In the West, we are bombarded by the materialist worldview that there is no evidence for the afterlife, that psychic phenomena are all imagined, mediums are all cold readers, and that after death it's "lights out". This is the viewpoint pushed by academia, conservative mainstream media, and Wikipedia.
Having absorbed it, like the air we breathe, many people become preoccupied with the pressures of cost of living and see no reason to investigate further. However, there comes a time when a personal experience of the spirit world hits people with great force. For some, it is a spontaneous out-of-body experience, an experience of oneness, a near-death experience, the death of a loved one, or an afterlife-death contact. For many, such experiences can be totally disorienting and life-changing.
At times like this, it is most important for people to be able to access reliable information. This might be through books, videos, podcasts and websites or a living teacher. It is also most valuable to be able to connect with others who have had similar experiences, either in face-to-face groups like IANDS or Forever Family Foundation or Helping Parents Heal or in one of the many afterlife-themed Facebook groups or Zoom groups. Sharing your own experiences when you feel comfortable to do so is an important way of making it feel safe for others do do the same.

Susanne explains that ascension to means to "raise our vibrations" so that we can hold more light. This is vitally important since we came here to spread light and lift each other up.
