COMMENTARY: THE INTEREST IN THE AFTERLIFE IS GROWING RAPIDLY
Afterlife researcher Michael Tymn interviewed us 12 years ago for his monthly blog hosted by White Crow Books. One of the interesting questions he asked us recently for an updated interview was "Do you see much progress being made in recent years relative to accepting the evidence for survival and related psychic phenomena? If so, what do you use to measure the progress?"
Our answer was an unequivocal YES. Afterlife evidence is entering the mainstream in a big way. There is much more acceptance of mediumship, near-death experiences, deathbed visions, and after-death contacts in magazines, newspapers, movies, and TV programs. More and more credible people have gone public with their experiences and the evidence is being professionally presented.
The number of afterlife–related podcasts and interview programs has just exploded in the last five years. There are thousands of YouTube channels, podcasts, Facebook groups, and Instagram and TikTok accounts which present different aspects of afterlife-related topics. Suddenly hospice nurses are social media stars. Penny Smith, for example, has 864,000 followers on TikTok, 420,000 on Instagram, and 275,000 on YouTube. Alex Ferrari's Next Level Soul, a slick professional interview program on YouTube, started in July 2021. Now it has 1.1 million subscribers and has received 168,079,067 views.
Clearly a significant section of the population has a huge and growing interest in all things to do with afterlife, the paranormal, and spiritual growth.

A NEAR-DEATH EXPERIENCER WHO SAW THE PROCESS OF PLANNING HER LIFE Sometimes when near-death experiencers express reluctance to return to the life they had just left, they are told that they had chosen the circumstances of that life themselves. When they continue to say "That's impossible" some claim to have been shown the equivalent of a video clip of a meeting where they agreed to their life plan. Betty Guadagno had a spiritually transformative experience in March 2019. She was shown that she had chosen the experience of being an orphan after both her parents suicided, being a drug-addicted sex worker, and being an atheist.

When Christian was a young child, he remembered his existence before coming to Earth. That memory left him completely during his later childhood and early adult life. However it spontaneously returned 14 years ago as Christian took up a meditation practice and went through a personal awakening journey. He also began to have Out-of-Body Experiences (OBEs). LETTERS TO AND FROM THE OTHER SIDE
Susanne Wilson interviews Claudia Milligan, author of "Letters to David: Following My Son Into Spirit." Claudia's son David physically died at age 29. Claudia received contact from David soon after and the two began writing each other letters through channeling. "I accepted my son's invitation to stay connected with him." The letters are a near-daily occurrence, with many who have read them saying they receive positive energies from having read the content.
NO-ONE REALLY DIES
If you're still not sure about the afterlife, or even if you are, you must read Michael Tymn's book No-One Really Dies: 25 Reasons to Believe in an Afterlife. It will leave you intrigued and fascinated. In the first chapter, he details the personal experience of a mediumship reading that stunned him and, in the second, the incredible experiences that led Jon Beecher to create White Crow Books. Many of the cases reported in this book are bizarre and exceed the normal boggle threshold, but it should be kept in mind that the high-profile people who reported on them did so after numerous observations, often under highly controlled conditions. WILLIAM BUHLMAN: BELIEF IS NOT THE WAY
Out-of-Body experiencer and highly recommended writer William Buhlman dealt firsthand with disbelief when his loved ones and friends refused to believe that he was having repeated out-of-body experiences. He claims that this is a common experience for the many thousands of children who have OBEs.
MEDIUM ESTELLE ROBERTS Estelle Roberts (10 May 1889 – 30 May 1970) is regarded by the British Spiritualist Movement as one of its finest exponents of mediumship. She filled the Royal Albert Hall in London with up to 60,000 people on a score of occasions, and also toured the UK giving demonstrations of her exceptional mediumistic gifts to many thousands of people. At times, she demonstrated physical materialisation and direct voice under the control of her guide, Red Cloud. Since her death she has continued her work in spreading spiritual truths from her greater understanding of the world of spirit. Her autobiography 'Fifty Years a Medium' can be accessed on YouTube.

DO ALL ANIMALS SURVIVE DEATH?
This is one of the most frequently asked questions about the afterlife. Information that pets that have been loved while on earth survive in the afterlife has come from every country – through near-death experiences, mediumship, after-death contacts, etc. It has been repeated over time and space. Silver Birch tells us that loving your pet raises its vibrations so it can join you in the sphere where you are. All animals survive, we are told, but in their own areas. It is interesting to note that while Christianity has traditionally taught that animals do not survive death that may be changing.
