COMMENTARY:
SHARED NEAR-DEATH EXPERIENCES A GAME CHANGER A few years ago, it seemed like every month or so we would see news headlines claiming that some skeptic has "proved" that NDEs are hallucinations caused by oxygen deprivation, or an effect of the dying brain, or some other fanciful biologically-based explanation.
The fact that during NDEs people see and hear things that they could not possibly have normal access to is one of the most impressive lines of evidence that near-death experiences are far more than this. The book The Self Does Not Die: Verified Paranormal Phenomena from Near-Death Experiences (2016) by Titus Rivas, Anny Dirven, Rudolf H. Smit, Robert G. Mays, Janice Miner Holden (Editor) contains over 100 reliable, often firsthand, accounts of perceptions during NDEs that were later verified as accurate by independent sources.
Dr. Kenneth Ring and other researchers showed that another feature of many near-death experiences is a life review. The interesting thing about these is that they are not like replaying a video recording. Instead, experiencers see their lives from the perspective of everyone else they interacted with. They access the feelings and memories of the other people involved. These are things that they would have no normal way of knowing. (Ring and Valarino 1998).
There are at least 15 lines of evidence that refute the "dying brain" theory, but the gamechanger, the final piece of evidence that demolishes the biological argument, is that people can have an experience identical to an NDE when there is nothing physically wrong with them. Also that a bystander who is not ill or injured can share aspects of another person's NDE.

"This clearly undermines the standard counter-explanation of near-death experiences that they have to do with the compromise of the oxygen flow to the patient's brain because the bystanders were not ill or injured, the surgeon was not ill or injured... We're obviously dealing with something here that is more than the cut-off of Oxygen to the brain.
JEFFERY OLSEN'S NEAR-DEATH EXPERIENCE
When Jeff Olsen's car rolled, he lost consciousness. Suddenly he found himself out of his body and "on the way to heaven" with his wife and baby son. He writes: "Then, suddenly, I was calm. The pain was gone. I looked around. I was floating above our car accident. Before I could react, I felt a presence near me. It was Tamara. We were encircled in a bubble of light that was emanating complete peace. I knew then she was gone, but it was as if my grief were suspended. All I could feel was serenity". Read more.

PROJECT ST PETER - EPISODES 1 and 2
In 1986 George Meek's "Metascience Foundation INC" was building a “Celestial Broadcast System” - an advanced system of communications between people in non-physical form ("Spirit Team") and researchers on Earth. The goal was to assist mankind's search for advice on how to solve the earth’s problems, evolve, and end war.
The system comprised two pieces of equipment - “Angel I” and “Michael I”. A telepathic trance medium channeled instructions from the Science team in “Heaven” to the research team on “Earth" and told them how to build the device. They also presented many scientific and universal concepts in lecture format, given mostly by Dr. Albert Einstein.
This research project was code-named “Project St. Peter.” The "Spirit Team" included “53 illumined brothers and sisters of Celestial Universal stature” referred to as “LIFELINE” or “Alpha Celestial Unit One”. These "Spirit People" include many famous and well-known luminaries and personalities from around the world.

Global Gathering Our speaker this week is Clark (Sunny) Burgess who has had more than 35 years experience as a working medium. He has just completed a 10-year research project on trance mediumship which has resulted in his book "Explore Your Soul's Purpose Through Trance and Inspirational Control". The book references over 160 books in the research, quite a few of which are rare publications that he travelled the world to read. A book focusing on the trance mediumship of Elizabeth Bedford was one such rare publication. Equally, another book was compiled by the author who played the role of stenographer to document every detail of her sittings with multiple leading trance mediums during the 1940s at the London Spiritualist Alliance.
