Words cannot describe what I witnessed last night during
the materialization experiment with medium David Thompson
in Sydney arranged for the benefit of a guest sitter, spiritual
author Camilla Persson who flew out from Sweden to sit with
the Circle of the Silver Cord. Without a doubt, materialization
mediumship is the ultimate proof for survival.
David Thompson is performing ‘miracles’ during
his materialization experiments. Last night, 15th October
06, we witnessed in red light ectoplasm coming out from
David’s mouth. We took photos of this ectoplasm. The
experience of seeing this phenomenon was quite fantastic.
William then asked for us to place a luminous circular
plate on the floor and we saw ectoplasm flow over the lit
plate. William then put his hand into ectoplasm and we could
clearly see a hand outlined. The ectoplasm was then draped
over the luminous plate as it was held by a sitter- he could
feel it spilling over onto his leg until it was quickly
withdrawn.
Timothy, the entity who controls the ectoplasm and helps
bring through people’s relatives, conducted a spectacular
trumpet display and brought the father of one of the sitters
who spoke to her through the trumpet for amplification and
gave her an apport, a beautiful small butterfly charm.
William himself then materialized – he went around
our Circle and touched many of the sisters, including putting
his right hand on my left shoulder.
His particularly deep, idiosyncratically resonant voice,
immeasurably and definitively different from the medium’s
voice boomed inches away from my face. He asked for questions
and answered them masterfully. Some questions were of private
nature and accordingly we would not put these private sound
files on my website – but visit my website to hear
the voices of these materialized entities who used to walk
this planet earth more than a hundred years ago.
Arthur Conan Doyle and Louis Armstrong materialized, also
Gandhi and Jack who went around the circle touching all
of the sitters. Everyone commented on the fact that he has
a huge hand, far bigger than that of anyone in the room.
To my knowledge there are now only three materialization
mediums demonstrating publicly in the Western world –
David Thompson, now living in Sydney, is one of them. So
that those powerful spirits who want to give us some kind
of a message do not have much choice but to come through
one of the three materialization mediums. David now has
regular spirit guests and occasionally we get Silver Birch
and Maurice Barbanell, the former Psychic News editor.
They all tell us that it is very difficult to materialize
and talk through ectoplasm, much more difficult than speaking
through direct voice and that it takes much practice; they
also say that some people are never able to do it.
At the moment we have a prima facie case made out about
these entities are who they are claiming to be. We are doing
voice correlations to properly identify them comparing their
voices from on earth to how they come in materialized form.
The ultimate voice correlation tests of course are when
we will be able to do Forensic Audio testing. Hopefully
that will not be too long.
I have been empirically investigating the paranormal for
the last sixteen years and can state with absolute certainty
that paranormal activity IS taking place. There is not the
slightest doubt about that. But we do get a few people giving
us what THEY think we should be doing during these spectacular
materializations. These are some of the impractical suggestions:
Use an infra-red camera. Although this seems to be immediately
the best way to show that entities are materializing, to
many people’s surprise, the skeptics have not accepted
photographs taken of materializations by another physical
medium in England. Skeptics are claiming that everything
has been staged! William tells us in Sydney that infra red
filming has radiation and he said that a primary concern
is to protect his medium.
Talking to the experts I was informed that there are two
types of infra red cameras – active and passive. Active
infra red emits radiation – which according to William
that would be potentially harmful to his medium. And there
is the passive infra red filming which, we were informed,
just exaggerates what is seen in the darkness. That is of
no use to us at all.
There are those uninformed and obdurately stubborn who
think they are omniscient and infallible about these matters
who stated that in any materialization mediumship there
must be fraud going on because the results are too fantastic
to be true. They mistakenly claim that only infra red filming
would prove what is really going in the darkness.
As an expert in evidence I can state with absolute certainty
that these experiments can pass any scientific tests for
validation.
To me voice correlations are more empirically critical
than infra red filming for the above stated reasons –
no skeptic has been converted because of infra red filming
in materialization mediumship. But voice correlations, notwithstanding
the entities have the difficulty of speaking through ectoplasm,
are far more empirically reliable.
Another assertion was that there must be a trapdoor for
someone to come into the séance room. This is an
invalid objection because the critics do not understand
and are totally ignorant of how fastidiously empirically
meticulous our experiment is – especially in measures
taken to prevent fraud.
Another claim is that it is David Thompson who is producing
all those different voices! First these critics have not
read what preparation we take to prevent fraud.
David is always tied into the chair hand and foot. He is
not only gagged fairly tightly but we also put seals around
the gag. Also at times we put coded lines down the medium’s
face from the upper side flesh of the face over the gag
towards the jaw so that if the gag was removed it would
be impossible in the dark to get the gag back exactly as
it was before. I state that it would be impossible for the
medium even to produce his own voice under these strict
conditions. Electronic testing all showed that all voices
produced different graphs for each voice showing that each
voice was a different voice.
Another objection was that a ectoplasm does not exist and
that a female confederate of the medium must be putting
gauze or muslin into a condom, hiding the condom in her
vagina and then passing the gauge to another confederate.
This was stated in an old book published in 1970 called
The Psychic Mafia. I nearly fell off my chair laughing at
this objection it is so ridiculous – especially, after
witnessing ectoplasm emanating from the medium last Sunday.
Materialization of those who crossed over more than seventy
years ago and now are walking and talking again in the year
2006 is something the world has to know is really happening.
We have highly credible professionals as sitters –
none of whom belong to any Spiritualist Church. We are all
open minded, highly informed empirical skeptics who are
conceding that materializations are taking place and providing
absolute proof that the afterlife exists.
