Here in Australia we are watching the Bristol based television
mini series ‘AFTERLIFE’ – conceptualized
by Stephen Volk. The series is about the problem of a gifted
mental medium, Allison Mundy, played brilliantly by Lesley
Sharp, who is able to reach people on the “other side”
as a result of a traumatic accident. The script also includes
her protagonist, Dr Robert Bridge – a closed minded
skeptic psychologist (played extremely well by Andrew Lincoln)
who without having investigated the paranormal, is adamantly
opposed to the existence of the afterlife and the paranormal.
The production, the acting, the editing all are well above
average and I accept the suggestion that it is one of the
best British television series ever.
The only rider I would give is that Stephen Volk understands
that his production is in a highly competitive market and
has decided to dramatize certain incidents. There is shock
treatment which may disturb some people – but others
would claim, that Stephen Volk is dealing with the truth
and does not want to censor the truth.
For example, in one of the episodes, we see a female teenager
naked in a bath full of water covered with blood after committing
suicide. We really do not know whether the suicide was because
she went to see the medium, or (as implied in the series)
because her dead mother wanted to bring her child into the
afterlife with her or for some other motive which is not
made clear.
The other matter of concern is that Stephen Volk decided
to call the medium Alison. There is another psychic American
television series called MEDIUM based on the psychic skills
of American medium Allison Dubois.
It is excellent that Stephen Volk decided to do research
on the afterlife and show not only the British public, but
the world that the reports by virtually millions of people
who experience afterlife and paranormal phenomena throughout
history just cannot be ignored – even though these
psychic experiences clash with traditional beliefs.
I strongly recommend all to watch this mini series AFTERLIFE.
Tell your friends to tell their friends that AFTERLIFE is
a unique show that will be of personal benefit to themselves.
This is because knowledge is to be preferred to beliefs.
And no materialist, no closed minded skeptic, no cynic ought
to condemn anything especially when they do not investigate.
I am confident in stating that six shows of AFTERLIFE will
be equivalent to more than 100,000 spiritual services in
Spiritual Churches.
Britain’s top movie makers of AFTERLIFE: produced
by Murray Ferguson, directed by Maurice Phillips, scripted
by Stephen Volk.
Well done Stephen Volk and crew! Absolutely brilliant!
American mini series ‘MEDIUM’.
The gifted American medium, Allison Dubois, created a storm
in the United States with her television mini series ‘MEDIUM’
based on her psychic experiences. Incidentally, the actor
who plays Allison Dubois is Patricia Arquette who was nominated
for an award for her brilliant portrayal of Allison.
MEDIUM, to my knowledge, is the first mini series from
the United States showing a gifted medium at work in real
life. MEDIUM has been most impressive not only in the United
States, but in Australia as well – a really popular
show.
Allison Dubois assists the District Attorney with her psychic
skills pursuing criminals who thought they got away with
it. We are shown appearances of those victims who crossed
over the way Allison sees them.
The acting and the production are extremely well done.
Again, like the British series ‘AFTERLIFE’,
‘MEDIUM’ will have a huge impact on the public
mind. It shows how gifted mediums work, how their work affects
their relationships with family members, the pressures they
are under and the problems they face constantly with closed
minded skeptics.
The overall effect is educational. Those materialists and
cynics who do not want to investigate or understand or want
to know about the most important discovery in human history
are dealing with their own problem. The other 95% of people
who have an open mind will now have an opportunity to learn
more things experienced by millions throughout the world
and to learn more about the problems of being a medium in
a relatively aggressive Western society.
Again, tell your friends to watch and support this show.
I found it absolutely brilliant.
“PSYCHIC DETECTIVES”
This is an American mini series based on actual events.
You can see them as pure documentaries. There is no embellishment
or fiction at all and we get to hear professionally hardened
police officers in different States stating that they were
just amazed how gifted psychics were able to assist them
and catch criminals when the police had lost all hope of
solving the crime. There are no particular actors playing
the same part. These are shows which focus on different
mediums in the United States assisting the police.
After watching a number of episodes of all these television
shows, the question that occurs to me and I suppose to many
viewers is why is there so little funding for psychic research
when gifted mediums are getting most brilliant results.
I see these shows as highly educational. They teach people
to be more tolerant of things they do not know, do not understand
but which are part of our everyday lives.
Highly gifted psychics are making a huge contribution to
the understanding of this world, of our role in this world
and are showing us that there is a life after living on
this planet. The more we know about the afterlife the more
confidently we can live our lives fully and without fear.
Hard core repeatable psychic phenomena put outdated, outmoded
and irrelevant beliefs in perspective.
The big lesson is that the empirically validated mediumship
is now being accepted on a global level. Gifted mediums
are helping people, giving them hope that love survives
physical death and understanding that death does not and
can never sever the true heart to heart connections we have
with our loved ones. Most people to-day intuitively know
they WILL MEET AGAIN their loved ones.
