COMMENTARY: I WAS JUST FOLLOWING ORDERS
I had an email this week from a man who was an employee
in a government agency. As part of his job, following
orders from his superiors, he says he did some things
that were really nasty, against people who could have
been innocent. Now he is concerned about what he can
expect on crossing over.
We know that cruelty by anybody against
others has to be accounted for – there are NO
EXCEPTIONS. I said many times before, nobody escapes
the Law of Cause and Effect. We know, from people who
have experienced it during a life review, that you feel
the effects of everything that you have done to others
as if they were being done to you.
A
good example of this is the case of Dannion Brinkley,
whose book with Paul Perry Saved by the Light
and the subsequent film made his near-death experience
known to millions. During his first near-death experience
he experienced all the violence he had inflicted onto
others, and was so horrified that he began a life of
service in the hospice movement. He also attempted to
make amends to those he had harmed. In two subsequent
life reviews, the early violence was still there but
it was largely offset by the love he had since shown.
