COMMENTARY: COLOSSAL IGNORANCE ABOUT WHAT HAPPENS AFTER WE DIE We hear from the afterlife that there are millions crossing over who end up in mental confusion. Why? It appears that people in the Western world, at least, don't know what to expect.

On the one hand those who believe materialistic science haven't given the afterlife any serious thought at all. And many orthodox and fundamentalist Christians expect to meet God, or Jesus, or Mary face to face! Others expect they will be in some kind of limbo state until Jesus comes "to judge the living and the dead." Highly credible Information from Mons. Hugh Benson directly from the afterlife dimension is that none of these things is going to happen.

It is most important to know that the average person will be met by loved ones and taken to an environment which will seem just as real and solid as this world. Or they may just wake up in what seems like a very pleasant hospital.


WHAT ARE THE AFTERLIFE DIMENSIONS LIKE? Directly from the afterlife, Mons. Hugh Benson explains, " ... many souls of the earth world are almost shocked to be told that the spirit world is a solid world, a substantial world, with real, live people in it. They think that that is far too material, far too like the earth world; hardly, in fact one step removed from it with its spirit landscape and sunshine, its houses and building, its rivers and lakes, inhabited by sentient beings!" Dr. Kelly gives more information about physicists who accept the evidence for the afterlife. THE GREAT LESLIE FLINT REUNIONS
We have always said that the most evidential test of physical mediumship is when you get a reunion of a person living in the spirit world with a loved one still alive ion earth. The Leslie Flint tapes provide many examples of this. George Woods and Betty Green recorded a session in which a mother spoke with her son, Michael Fearon, who had been killed in action at Normandy on June 9, 1944. The recording was the subject of a BBC interview on October 8, 1963. TOM NEWMAN DESCRIBES HIS EXPERIENCES WITH PHYSICAL MEDIUM DAVID THOMPSON As we mentioned last week David Thompson will be presenting and offering workshops on physical mediumship at the AREI Symposium in September.





PHYSICAL MEDIUMS IN THE UNITED STATES Many people don't realise that there is a long tradition of brilliant physical mediums in the USA. In the 1850's Jonathan Koons, his wife, Abigail Koons, and their nine children were all extremely gifted physical mediums. It is interesting to note that the phenomena they generated were identical to those produced by physical mediums today. Their main spirit communicators were John King and his daughter Katie, the same Katie King who later came through to Sir William Crookes in England and the John King who has since appeared in many circles. Sadly they experienced even more hostility than some physical mediums experience today; their house was attacked by mobs, fire was set to their crops and barns, and their children were beaten. Victor: If you are living with your soul mate, your partner will show his/her unselfish love, always attend to your needs, will move heaven and earth to make life easy for you, will always be there when you need him/her. Likewise, you will do the same for him/her. But we are told that it is not always always possible or desirable for us to be in this world with our soul mate. Since we come to earth to continue to grow and experience, sometimes we choose to learn to cope with difficult relationships or to do things that we would not do if we had our soul mate here to support us.





HEART SURGEON DESCRIBES AN EVIDENTIAL NEAR-DEATH EXPERIENCE Every time you hear a skeptic say that NDEs are an illusion created by the dying brain, refer them this important book which details more than 100 veridical NDEs, similar to this one, a favourite of ours. A famous heart surgeon, Dr. Lloyd Rudy, claims that his patient was clinically dead on the operating table for 20 minutes before his heart began to beat again. The patient stunned everyone by recovering and being able to describe things that had happened while he was "dead".
